(Oasis's pov)
"YEOW" saber yelled as she front flipped to hit the volleyball with her back paws, I held my paws together in front of me and hit the ball back over the net, we've been at this for a while, finally saber headed the ball back to my side of the net and it hit the floor "game set match" kwazii laughed, "I wish I was as fast as you guys" I sighed, "don't worry, you have plenty of time" saber explained, "Saber's right you know, you and river are still youngins" kwazii added, "yeah, I guess" I responded, river is a lot like peso but peso can be very brave when he takes the notion

(Saber's pov)
After playing volleyball with Oasis for a while, I've been watching the radar and scanning the octopods map for anything unusual, nothing's happening so far, then I heard someone enter the room "saber" a Scottish accent called out, "need something shell?" I asked turning around in my chair to face the sea otter, "actually I have something for you, I was looking for books on whale biology In the library and I found this book about all different kinds of sharks  and thought you might enjoy reading it" he said handing me the book in question, "thanks Shellington" I responded appreciatively, "no problem, now if you'll excuse me I have some seaweed samples and test tubes to get back too" he remarked heading back towards the octo-shoot, he gave me a friendly wave before leaving which I gladly returned

I checked the radar once more and smiled as I saw the Galápagos Islands starting to come into view on my map, I sighed as I leant back in my chair and started flipping through the book Shellington gave me, he wasn't kidding when he said this book was full of sharks, there's stuff about lemon sharks hammerheads and my personal favorite great whites, about half way through the book I discovered a bunch of empty pages, the first blank page wasn't entirely blank though, it had a sticky note attached to it that read

"This book isn't completely finished yet but knowing you it'll be filled to the brim with shark facts in no time" ~shell

I laughed slightly at the note, sharks are my favorite sea creatures and I absolutely love doing research on them, this is now the fifth book in my own collection, the captain let me keep the red notebook I tried make a map in when we were lost in Antarctica, a journal that grandpa gave me to record all of my adventures in, Professor inkling gave me a book on oceanography and a book on cartography, I smiled as I looked out into the sea wondering what kind of adventures are on the horizon, I can't wait to fill these empty pages
