"Family is not an important thing. It’s everything.” –Michael J. Fox

Camila POV

The weekend passed by pretty fast and before I could realize,  it was Monday again. Shawn and I still didn't talk about our fight, but it was just a stupid mini fight, so there's not really something that we need to talk about. Or is it?

Anyways the weekend was incredible, but as the alarm sounded for us to go to work, I just wanted to throw the phone against the wall.

,,Is the boss going to be mad if we get late?" I asked and hid my face in Shawn's neck.

,,For sure not, but the patients will be." He said and I groaned in his neck. ,,I can't believe how the tables have turned." He said and chuckled.

,,What do you mean?" I asked and rested my head back on the pillow to look at him.

,,I mean that you had to pull me out of  bed the past two weeks and now it's my turn to do the same to you." He said and leaned in to kiss me softly.

He pulled away pretty quickly and got out of bed. I was disappointed and made my puppy face at him.

,,Where are you going? Come back..." I said while I held onto his hand not letting him go.

,,I just wanted to check on Riley and see if she's awake." He said making me melt right there.

,,Can you be any cuter!?" I asked and he chuckled lightly. ,,But now really. Why are you so perfect?"

,,I'm not perfect, Mila. I have a lot of flaws."

,,For me, you're perfect." I said and pulled him in for another kiss.

Then he walked out of the room letting me alone. I layed back in bed and hid my face in his pillow smelling his scent. I never felt more like home than in that exact moment.

At some point, I heard the door at the bedroom open again and as I looked up from the pillow, I saw Shawn with Riley in his arms. I immediately smiled to myself admiring them.

,,If I can't make you stand up from the bed, than maybe Riley can." Shawn said to me and that made me giggle. ,,You can do that, right, Riley? Let's make mommy stand up." He said and this time the word mommy didn't seem wrong.

For the first time, I started to get used to the word and the feeling the word brought with it.

Shawn sat on the bed and made Riley sit in front of him too. I smiled at both of them and then leaned in to kiss Riley's cheek. She was giggling and moving in an excited way as I did so.

,,Someone likes to be kissed, huh?" Shawn asked looking down at Riley.

,,She for sure does. Just like me." I said leaning in to kiss him one more time and he laughed against my lips and that also made me laugh.

,,Like I always say. She's a mini you." Shawn said and put his arm around my waist, as I rested my head on his shoulder.

,,Yeah....I start to believe in that more and more every day." I said and smiled at Riley

,,Me too, but now we should really get changed. Mrs Harrison will be here any minute now."

,,Fine...." I said and groaned while I stood up. Shawn was cheering and picked up Riley holding her above his head like a trophy. Riley was giggling and bubbling at his action and that only made me laugh too.

While I was getting changed, Shawn made some delicious breakfast for us and a banana purée for Riley. While we were eating, the interphone rang and I was sure it was Mrs Harrison, so I stood up and answered it.
