The next morning I woke up SO excited! IT WAS RILEY'S FIRST BIRTHDAY!
,,Shawn! Wake up!" I whispered excited not wanting to wake up Riley yet.
Shawn groaned, but then as he realized why I was waking him up, he opened his eyes and looked excited at me.
,,Come on!" I said and we both got quietly out of bed and then walked out the room with our present for Riley and closed the door after us.
We both walked in the kitchen holding hands and noticed that Karen was already there.
,,I prepared the ingredients. We can get started with the cake!" Karen said excited.
,,Then let's go!" Shawn and I said at the same time and that made us both laugh.
We all started baking a simple cake and to our surprise, it ended up being so incredibly cute! It was probably because Karen was the chef cook in the whole mission.

,,This ended up a thousand times better than I'd have ever expected it to be!" Shawn said and I totally agreed with him.
,,WOW! This looks SOOO good!" Aaliyah said as she walked in the kitchen rubbing her eyes.

,,I've to say that both of you improved a lot!" Karen said.
,,I don't know about me, but, babe, you are really becoming a pro." Shawn said and put his arm around my shoulder.
,,Morning, girls and Shawn." Mary greeted us as she entered the kitchen and the way she greeted us made us all laugh lightly.
Mary was already dressed for the day compared to Shawn, Karen, Aaliyah and I.
,,I'll go wake up Manny and get changed." Karen said.
,,I'll go and get changed too." Liyah said.
,,We’ll go too and if Riley woke up then we'll come downstairs with her." Shawn said and everyone nodded in agreement.
Everyone made their way to their room and so did Shawn and I. As we walked in Shawn's room we immediately noticed how Riley was waking up lightly.
A big smile appeared on my face and I ran like a little kid to her bed. I was so excited! It was her first birthday! It was such an important event!
,,Happy first birthday, Riley!" I said excited as I picked her up and started leaving soft kisses all over her face.
,,Happy birthday, my princess!" Shawn said, hugged me from behind and also left some kisses on Riley's face.
