,,So we'll come this weekend and stay there until your wedding that is next weekend. Does it sound good?" Carlos asked on the phone.

,,That would be literally amazing, but what about Caroline's school?" I asked.

,,She's more than happy not to go for a week. Anyways I told the school that is a family emergency so they let her go." Carlos said and we both started laughing.

,,I swear you're the coolest dad." I said and laughed lightly when I sat down on the couch.

,,I can be strict sometimes." He said.

,,I'm sure you can, but by the way what did Alex say? Is he coming this week or next week?" I asked and that's when Shawn and Riley come back home from their walk.

,,Mommy! A lady let me pet her dog!" Riley said excited.

,,That's great, sweetie." I said and high fived her.

,,Can we get a dog too?" Riley asked.

,,We can talk about that later. Mommy is on the phone." Shawn said and Riley looked disappointed, but understood.

,,Sorry, Carlos. What did you say?" I asked on the phone turning my attention back on Carlos.

,,Alex said that he can come this weekend because the semester just started and there isn't much to do." Carlos said and I jumped lightly around from happiness.

,,I'm so excited!" I said and giggled like a kid and I heard Shawn laugh next to me.

,,Me too. I'm happy for you and I'll see you on Saturday."

,,See ya!" I said and we hung up.

,,And? What did you talk about?" Shawn asked and I streched my legs in his lap.

,,They can all come on Saturday and they can stay until the wedding! How cool is that!?" I asked excited and he just smiled at me.

,,Perfect.... Are you happy?" He asked and looked me in the eyes.

,,The happiest." I said and leaned in to give him a kiss.

,,Mommy! I'm hungry!" Riley said as she ran in the living room.

,,I made some spaghetti. You want that for dinner?" I asked and she nodded excited.

,,Yes please!" She said.

,,Then let's go and eat. You hungry too?" I asked Shawn.

,,A little."

,,Then come on." I said and we both stood up from the couch and made our way to the kitchen with Riley.

I divided the food into three plates and placed them on the table. I sat next to Shawn and then we all started eating.

,,Riley has a doctor appointment tomorrow." I said to Shawn.

,,At what time?" Shawn asked.

,,6pm. Can you come too?" I asked.

,,Yes of course. The last patient is at 5:30pm so it should work." He said.

,,We can come to the praxis around 5:30 and we wait for you until you're ready." I said and he nodded.

,,Perfect." He said and after we finished our food, Shawn cleaned up the table while I gave Riley a bath.
