Camila POV

As I walked home, I was still overwhelmed by the news. There were so many things happening in such a short time that I can't see through them anymore.

In not even one month, my life changed drastically. From a party girl to a 'mom'. From single to taken. From a sister to no sister. From a best friend in a relationship to a single pregnant best friend. Was there anything that was the same!?

As I got home and entered the apartment, I took my shoes off and saw Bella, the babysitter, cooking something in the kitchen.

,,Ms Cabello! You're home! Riley is sleeping right now so I decided to cook something for you." She said with a big smile on her face.

,,Mrs Harrison.... You didn't have to...and I told you that you can call me Camila." I said and smiled at her while I put my stuff down.

,,Okay, Camila. Oh- I needed to tell you that there was a girl who called on the interphone. She said her name was Skylar." Mrs Harrison said and my eyes grew wide.

,,What did she want?" I asked confused.

,,She said she wanted to say sorry, but I didn't ask for what. She told me to tell you that she wants to explain what happened if you'd let her." Bella said and I walked in the kitchen where she was and started helping her a little with the food.

,,Thank you for telling me." I said and smiled at her.

Mrs Bella Herrison had such a beautiful soul. She was 50 and married for 30 years. She doesn’t have children, but loves children so that's why she became a babysitter. Mrs Herrison was taking such a good care of Riley and I learned a lot of stuff from her.

I helped Mrs Herrison with the food and as it was ready, I thanked her for everything, paid her for the day and then she left. I ate a little bit of what she cooked and at some point the interphone rang and I walked to it and answered it:

,,Hello?"

,,Here is Melanie Gomez from the child's protection. I was here a week ago."

,,Come in." I said and opened the building door with the interphone and then waited for her with the apartment door opened.

,,Hello, Camila." She said as she got at my floor and entered the apartment.

,,Hello, Mrs Gomez." I said friendly.

,,I wasn't sure if I was gonna find you home, but here you are. I'm just here for the small inspection and for some questions."

,,Of course. Take a seat." I said and pointed at the couch. We sat down and she started to put me kind of the same questions she put me the last time.

,,So...You told me you recently got a boyfriend. Are you still together?" She asked me.

,,Yes, we're still together." I simply answered.

,,Does he have a job?"

,,Yes, we even work together." I said letting out the part about he being my boss.

,,Do you two live together?"

,,No..." I said. I mean we don't live together, but he didn't sleep at his apartment for a long time....

,,The first time I was here, there was a girl and you said she was your best friend."

,,Exactly. That was Addison." I said with a smile.
