“Being a family means you are a part of something very wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life.”
–Lisa Weed

Camila POV

When we arrived Riley was awake, but Nate was asleep, so Shawn told me to wait in the car with the kids while he goes to take the keys to our cottage.

This hotel was really cool because it wasn't just a basic one with a hundred of rooms and instead it had its own part of the forest and there were a lot of cottages where you could stay, just like a hotel. There was also a community pool, jacuzzi and a sauna that were for everyone there.

Riley was excited when she heard that there was going to be a pool, but I couldn’t blame her. I was excited to hear that too. Everything about this hotel sounded like a beautiful escape from the busy streets of New York.

I love New York and couldn’t imagine living somewhere else, but I also enjoy the nature.

,,Do you like it?" I asked Riley and turned around to look at her.

,,It looks beautiful, but different then home. It looks like the Central Park, but with more trees." Riley said.

,,Well we are in the woods now." I said.

,,Cool! We should come here often. I like it." Riley said and looked curious on the window.

It was kinda weird to think that my kids were growing up in one of the busiest cities in the world probably even the busiest. I moved in a small town near New York when I was little, just like Shawn did, but we weren't living IN New York like Riley and Nate do. I didn't know if it was good or bad to be honest...

,,Do you like New York, baby?" I asked Riley wanting to find out if maybe Shawn and I did a big mistake as parents.

,,Of course! It's our home." Riley said with a smile.

,,But would you rather want to live somewhere more quiet? Like in a place that is like here?" I asked and she shook her head.

,,No. I like where we are living. It's beautiful. Here is beautiful too, but I like New York more. New York has everything." Riley said and she was right. I was happy to know that my kid wasn't feeling unhappy with the city we are living in.

,,Okay, I got the key. Mom and dad arrived too. I saw dad." Shawn said as he came back to the car.

,,Well, they were just a few minutes behind us and we had to stop quite a lot because of Nate and Tarzan." I said and Shawn nodded.

,,We should bring the kids in and then I'll come back for the bags." He said smiling.

,,Okay." I said and smiled back.

Shawn, Riley and I got out of the car and Riley waited for me and Shawn to take Tarzan and Nate too.

I picked up Nate carefully while Shawn was struggling to take off Tarzan's harness seat belt. Nate was looking wide eyed at me and had a soft smile on his face as I picked him up. I kissed his tiny nose and when Shawn got Tarzan out of the car, we all made our way to our cottage.

,,Can I sleep with Tarzan?" Riley asked on the way to the cottage and Shawn chuckled lightly.

,,You can if you want, princess." Shawn said and immediately afterwards we got at our cottage and Shawn opened the door with the keys he just got and everything inside looked so comfortable!

Riley immediately ran in there and started exploring every room just like Tarzan. I swear that since we got Tarzan, Riley doesn't care about me and Shawn anymore. I don't know if that's sad or funny, but I'm going for both.
