Chapter 6 Punishment, and Teaching

I walked to class from the director's office. When I came in no one said anything to me, or looked like I did something wrong. I guess it's one of the perks of being "the princess guard", I'm recognized but not really known, I'm just the "brother" of two beauties. I zoned out during the rest of class and before I knew it, it was lunch break. My mind was racing with different possibilities for the combination magic. Lilin walked up to my desk, I looked up at her and said "wanna get lunch?"

She simply nodded and started to walk towards the door. We walked by Lena's class and picked her up on the way to the cafeteria. As soon as we get our food, right before we sit down, Lena loudly goes "nii-san, is it true you got called to the director's office this morning?"

I sigh knowing about Lena's pranks and tricks to try to guilt me into talking.

"Wats, why were you called into the director's office?" whispers Lilin.

"What? We can't just eat lunch first, I haven't eaten anything since the cafe yesterday I'm starving" I say to try change the subject as I pick up my chopsticks and begin eating. We eat in silence for a little bit, before Lena again asks " soooo are you gonna tell us or should I just start spreading the rumour that you were the reason for the gym walls to be changed?"Lena said giggling

I quietly retort, "sadly that would be the most true"

"What?!" Lena half shouts

"Shh quiet down, I'll explain..." I whisper back

"How badly did you get in trouble?" Lilin asks looking a little frightened

"Honestly, I don't know yet, Director Justo said he has to think of my punishment for destroying school property. I'm going to report to him and after school at the magic enrichment courses."

"So nii-san how'd you do it?"

"Mmhm I'm also curious"

"You guys swear not to tell anyone?

"Yeah" Lena says bouncing

"Fine" Lilin rolls her eyes

"I was experimenting with combination magic."

"What's that?" Lena asks innocently

"Yeah that sounds interesting."

"I don't really know how much I am allowed to talk about here..."

"Even to us?? Nii-san really?"

"Especially to you, you little blabbermouth" I say teasingly to distract Lena

Lilin looks a bit concerned when I say that, and she then says "would it be alright for us to tag along afterschool to the magic enrichment courses, even though we aren't mages?"

"Ehh I'm sure it's fine, but it will probably be pretty boring." I reply

"Well if you are gonna get in trouble we can at least support you a bit, right Lena?" Lilin says teasingly

"Haha I guess, what else are sisters for other than to bother their brother"

" True, but then we could always just leave you be and sit aside as you get fed to the tigers" Lilin says

"Harsh, gee luv ya too" I reply

I must have been imagining it when I saw Lilin blush a bit with that. Lena then energetically cuts in "so since you are a mage are you gonna go to magic academy, or straight up join the guild or adventurer school?"
