Shortly after Prince Geordo and I returned to the party all clean and changed, Emperor Bantran along with Queen Lizel, Princess Stacia, and Prince Orion arrived. They had ridden carriages from Marquis Richard's estate after coming through the portal I connected there to the royal palace. After we exchanged some greetings, I told them how Rei is now officially a part of House Magias.

"So another woman is added to House Magias. You have room for any more?" Stacia asks teasingly

"Stacia, please stop trying to tempt my Darling," Anne says pouting

"What's the matter, Annie? Afraid it might work and you will no longer be the first wife?" Stacia asks back smiling

Seeing Anne act this way around her sister was quite funny, and I thought it was really cute, so I couldn't resist teasing her a little. I leaned over and whispered to Anne "why not according to the prophecy Gabrielle spoke I have 5 slots left?"

"Darling?!..." Anne shouts pouting

I lean down and kiss her pouting lips. When I pull away I whisper back "sorry, seeing you pout, and get jealous of your sister talking to me, I thought you were even cuter than usual. I couldn't resist." Anne then blushes deeply, making her even cuter.

"You two are really quite the power couple." Queen Theresa comes up to us smiling kindly.

"Moma?!? I umm, mean Your Majesty, it is a pleasure to see you again." Anne squeaks then quickly regained her composure.

"It's okay, we are surrounded by family, although in public it isn't formal." Queen Theresa kindly addresses Anne.

"It's nice to see you again aunty," I say with a slight bow

"Wats, may I steal you away for a second?" Queen Theresa asks kindly

"Um sure I guess?" I answer back confusedly

Queen Theresa then leads me away and brings out an amulet enchanted with a recognition barrier, and activates it. She then turns back and looks very sternly at me. "Please don't take Stacia as your fiancee." Queen Theresa says quickly.

"I wasn't even planning on it. Why are you bringing this up now?" I ask confused

"Well, there are talks in the works of arranging a marriage between Stacia and Prince Goman Artifice. Although your conditions when you won Anne's hand as well as the sale of artifacts made with your different magic increase formations have helped maintain a steady relationship between the empire and the Artifice Kingdom, we need a more solid alliance. Especially with all the things going on throughout the empire." Theresa explains gravely

"What kinds of things?" I ask confused

"Savage magic beast and monster activity have been unusually high. Also, the sightings are more frequent of pre-behemoths. Even reports of restless activity in the spiritai." Theresa answers gravely

"I-I see. I wouldn't wish the black prince on anyone, but I promise not to interfere this time." I say solemnly.

"You said pre-behemoth sightings. What does that mean, I thought behemoths were rare?" I ask in order to change the subject.

"Full-scale behemoths are rare, and unlike your Ryuu, most are stopped before they can get much past double black. However, in certain places rich in energy behemoths are more common to mutate. However, at these known places we have special units that subjugate savage magic beasts that are on the verge of mutating into behemoths called pre-behemoths. One of the main areas that pre-behemoths occur is the border between the Sylph Kingdom and the Humana Empire. That is where Princess Joan and King Henry spend a lot of their time, and why those two haven't been properly married yet." Theresa explains.
