I link with Cara, who is using (sense enhance) and immediately my vision becomes clearer, I can hear birds and insects in the training field, and I can smell food the cook is making for breakfast. "Wow, Cara, this is amazing," I comment

' "I'm glad I can share it with you dear." Cara says happily.

I activate the [sense sharing] part of the beast mark on Regulus, and my view splits. I can see everything around me as well as everything Regulus is seeing, which actually causes me to get a bit nauseous. I then signal to Lilin and Iris and they start using blessing magic. It only takes a couple of minutes for Regulus to reach the place I indicated to him. He slowly circles around it giving me a good view of the area. It looks like a desert with no plants or water for kilometers around. I sharpen my focus with the help of Cara's (sense enhance) and can see how the land seems to funnel downwards towards a certain point. I also notice a large formation of rocks about 1200 meters from the center of the depression. I use that as a reference for where my portal will go. I then unlink my senses from Regulus and signal Iris and Lilin to stop fueling their blessing magic. From there Cara stops using her soul skill, and my senses go back to normal. I focus on the rock formation just over a kilometer from the center of the depression, and the portal begins to shimmer until it reflects the rocks that I had seen with the help of Regulus.

When we arrived I quickly pull out a few tents and use magic to set them up. "This rock formation is about 1200m from the center of the trap we are going to set," I say pointing towards the center down the slope. I then turn towards everyone and realize that they all look like they are going to be sick except for Iris, Rei, and Prince Geordo.

"We should get to work soon. We only have 3 days before the behemoth gets here." Rei warns. Iris then casts [refresh] and then follows up with [energy restore] and everyone perks up a bit.

Everyone splits up to do the different tasks that I asked them to. I send Cal with Beph, Circe, Cara, and Lilin so that Lilin can start on the boundaries of blood weave hemlock. Most animals avoid blood weave hemlock because of its bright colorful patterns, strong poison, and its terrible odor. The few types of animals that do eat it are not really found in this area. I told Lilin to leave a wide enough opening to channel the behemoth into the trap. Beph also went to make sure the local animals and savage magic beasts would stay out of the area for a few days. Hopefully, there aren't too many monsters either. Colna sent a text message that the equipment I asked her for will be ready in 2 days, and she and Master Herrero will work on them together, I told her that when she is done to come through the [portal] in the training field at the estate. Iris, Anne, Lena, Prince Geordo, and Rei were all in the middle of the depression and quickly got to work on turning the dried earth into a wet marsh. Iris and Anne were using magic while Lena was calling on the nature spiritai for rain. Rei and Prince Geordo were using soldier shovels and were pretty efficient in moving dirt. I told them not to go too hard since they will be the main fighting force against the behemoth but they shook me off and told me to concentrate on my own task. Gabrielle is staying with me at the rock formation and is preparing tea.

I activate a red level space magic[space isolation] barrier as well as a blue level time magic [time slow zone] before I sit down and pull out all of my spell textbooks as well as my KORA-card. This will allow me to sit and research quickly since [time slow zone] slows my perception of time, each second passing outside of my zone will be like 3 minutes to me. Having access to all written works as well as a way to filter and search through them is really convenient when it comes to spell conceptualizing. I know that there are three types of formations in spell circles, the baseline concepts, the concept tie formations, and the variable formations. However, I don't know all of the different baseline concept formations or the individual variable formations within each category. I start off by looking for all information on behemoths that I can find. According to a couple of researchers in the Fyreed Order of Nature, natural behemoths can occur when a savage magic beast in an energy-rich environment with little competition for resources like food, water, shelter, and has a natural abundance of free soul energy and mana. According to other researchers and Order Knights in the past, behemoths can also be forcefully made by pouring huge amounts of soul energy and mana directly into savage magic beasts. The amount of soul energy poured into a savage magic beast to make it mutate into a behemoth has to be enough to completely fill the beast's soul and then push the boundaries to the next level forcing it to mutate into a stronger version of the species, although the only known case of successfully causing a mutation without killing either the beast or the person pouring in energy was recorded to be the Devil Lord Kxhaoxix, in the early part of the Devil Lord war.
