Chapter 32 Confession

Chishiki was right, when class started Mr. Smith called Anne, Cara, Me, and surprisingly Lilin to the front to tell us that Director Justo is expecting us in his office.

"What could Director Justo want with me though?" Lilin asked Mr. Smith confusedly

"I'm not sure what he wishes to speak with all of you about, but it would be best to hurry. You all will be excused from class now." Mr. Smith said dismissing us

We all walked towards Director Justo's office and then ran into Colna, Lena and Circe. Almost the whole party is here.

"You guys got called to Director Justo as well? I wonder if we are in trouble" I asked, now I'm concerned. All of us were there yesterday when I dueled the Black Prince, then we left together, we didn't really think of the consequences

"Yes, but I am not sure what it is for our teacher didn't really explain why we are being called to the director's office," Lena answered

"I suspect it might have something to do with yesterday, though I don't think that we are in trouble," Circe added calmly

"You guys are probably not in any trouble as Director Justo probably wants to just ask you some questions, but I might be. Afterall I did announce my title that I had asked Director Justo to help keep hidden for now, on top of challenging a foreign dignitary and member of Artifice Kingdom's royal family as well as caused a fair amount of destruction just outside of the practice gym, that was recently restored by my last 'rampage'." I answer softly. I notice Anne and Cara exchanging some kind of glance, maybe they suspected that they would be called in again and that was what they were whispering about on the way to school.

"Wats, it's not your fault at all, don't just assume you are in trouble." Circe retorts back

"Thanks, Circe." I mutter not feeling like I am in the clear just yet

When we arrive at Director Justo's office, he is standing outside and urges us inside before closing the door behind us. "Good all of you made it, one more should be here soon then we'll get started. By the way congratulations Lord Magias, and Your Highness." Director Justo says politely

To ease some of the tension I was feeling I tried cracking a joke "One more, are we waiting for my sister to come from college?" I asked smiling

Director Justo just looked at me and flatly said "yes".

With that, I just decided to shut up until Beph got here. About twenty minutes later we heard a knock on the door, and Beph came into the office.

"Good morning Director Justo it's been a while." Beph greeted the director when she entered then saw us. "Umm so what is this about, you guys alright?"

"Apparently we were just waiting for you sis..." I answer a little irritated. Sitting around for twenty minutes in silence wore on me and it came out when I saw Beph arriving.

"Geez ani, if you are mad at me just say something," Beph says back tears starting to form in her eyes.

Seeing her like that I got really flustered "I-I'm sorry. I was just getting irritated. I didn't mean to take it out on you." I apologized, my face getting flushed

"Hahaha, Ani. It's fine I know how antsy and impatient you can get. Besides, I saw an opportunity to mess with you a bit. Sorry." Beph laughs dismissively

"Now that you are all here, Can we get started?." Director Justo asked closing the door behind Beph. Beph came over and took a seat with the rest of us.
