Chapter 43 Prophecies...

When I went into my room I quickly changed into sleepwear and got ready for bed. I was about to go to sleep when I heard a knock at the door. When I opened it I was surprised to see Gabrielle and Anne.

"Lord Magias, have we come at a bad time?" Gabrielle asked. She seemed worried about something.

"No, was just getting ready for bed. Also didn't I tell you to just call me Wats?" I replied casually

"Darling, we need to talk about something kind of important, do you mind?" Anne added. I opened the door wider and stepped aside to let them in. Gabrielle bows to me before stepping in, and Anne follows her. She then quietly grasps my hand and gives a light squeeze. She looks a little scared, so I feel this might be a pretty heavy topic. I close the door behind them and get a couple of chairs. I sit on the bed and Anne sits next to me, Gabrielle takes one of the chairs across from me.

"First off, in order to fully understand what I am about to say, you should know that my soul skill is a gold level misc type [prophecy]," Gabrielle explains her soul skill

"Is that why you were locked in the church tower?" I ask confused

"For the most part, yes. I spontaneously awoke my soul skill when I was only 7. I then spoke a prophecy in the temple of Ka Mi. I was declared a holy prophet and was sent to the church to train. I learned how to read a person's most likely future, as well as see their current soul energy. However, sometimes I would get headaches and speak certain prophecies without meaning to. One of those foretold the possible end of the world as well as a potential hero. The temple wanted to hide this prophecy until more could be known, therefore they decided to lock me in the tower to meditate and search for answers. I was kept up to date on current events outside and watched for potential clues for the past three years. However, I couldn't gather any clues and began to even lose hope of ever being free. However, I heard your philosophy on god outside the temple of Ka Mi, as well as saw a portion of your soul energy. On top of that, I could not tell you any of your possible futures. It was as if you didn't have any set paths but could make your own. Then you rescued me from Father Asher, and I met your companions. When I tried to look at them with my soul skill only slight variations would appear between them, which was really strange to me. No two people have ever had the same future until I met Lena, Beph, Circe, and Colna. Then when I met Princess Anne, Lady Cara, and Lilin, I again saw basically the same future with only slight variations. They are a bit hazy but they all somehow point towards you. I think you are the chosen of my 'forbidden prophecy'" Gabrielle explains solemnly

"I'm confused. You think I might be some hero that might save the world?" I ask back confused

"Yes," Gabrielle says simply

"Well, what was the forbidden prophecy that caused you to be locked away?" I ask still confused

"For God hath made a mistake, the realms will roar and the earth shall quake. Seas of blood and souls shall rise until the chosen can claim their prize. With 14 angels balance of virtue and sin, one master served to death or win. Choices lay of heaven and hell for choices made are to quell. Time and worlds to collide determine what chosen did decide" Gabrielle repeats the prophecy with her eyes closed

"God's mistake, seas of blood and souls, master of 14 virtues and sins how does any of that relate to me? I'm just a simple mage." I ask in disbelief

"Your soul energy is greater than even black level, yet you repress most of it for some reason. However, your magic skills are at least gold level." Gabrielle states knowingly
