Rei came in out of breath interrupting our mass engagement.

"Good afternoon Rei. We are all engaged now." I say casually smiling

"Congratulations, all of you however there is slightly more urgent news. We have more information on the behemoth." Rei says sternly.

We all turn serious. "What do you got for us?" I ask seriously

" The behemoth is about 400 km south of Jarcata, moving north. It will reach Jarcata in three days, and evacuations just started yesterday. The plan is to go and intercept it and stall it as much as we can until the rest of the subjugation force arrives to take it down." Rei explains fretfully

"What is the species and threat level of the behemoth," Iris asks flatly

"It's a behemoth armored elemental Dragonoid. Threat level estimated as septuple black or more. If anyone wants to back out it won't be held against you all." Rei says solemnly

"Armored elemental dragonoids are black level extra large-sized savage magic beasts that are impervious to most attacks, and can use a variety of elemental magics, how in the world did we not hear about something like that mutating into a behemoth sooner?!" I yell angrily. As a septuple black level threat, it could destroy countries, not just cities and towns. Armies should be sent to subjugate it, but something so dangerous is almost always noticed right away.

"If you wish to opt-out, now is the time. The army, royal guards, and any volunteers will be sent to subjugate it, however then Jarcata and likely Fortuna will suffer huge damages." Rei retorts

"No, that covers part of my territory. I have to take responsibility. Besides If I'm supposed to take on Devil Lord Kxhaoxix someday I can't back out from a behemoth. However, I don't want to put my fiancees through such a dangerous situation." I answer back firmly

"Babydoll, as the head of the court mages I have a responsibility to go as well." Iris interrupts

"Darling, if you are going we are as well," Anne says sternly.

I look around at everyone in the room, and they nod in agreement. "Fine, then we will need to make a plan to be safe. As much as I am concerned about Jarcata, you all are my top priority. If at any point I say it is too dangerous to continue we retreat. Got it?" I say back firmly.

I then turn to Rei, "How long until the subjugation force can meet us?" I ask firmly

"We will act as the first barrier, our job will be to slow the behemoth as much as possible to give time for the subjugation force to arrive. The main part of the subjugation force will be led by Princess Joan who will arrive in about 3 days." Rei responds

"Quin, can you get me a map of the empire please?" I call out to Quin waiting outside the door.

A couple of minutes later I hear a knock on the door. Quin comes in and hands me an empire map, then she bows and leaves the room. I unroll the map on my desk and quickly find Jarcata. I call the girls over. "This is Jarcata, 400 km south of Jarcata is around here The behemoth armored elemental Dragonoid is able to cover 400 km in the span of three days which means it is traveling slightly faster than 133 km per day. Most dragonoids will only travel while the sun is out, so it is traveling at about 23 km/h. We need to therefore stall the behemoth here." I say pointing to the possible location on the map.

"That's only 50 km from Jarcata that is only about 2 hours away for the behemoth," Rei says back sternly

"Yes, but it is the best chance we have to safely stall it before Jarcata." I snap back at my sister.
