Chapter 78 Back to School

After the tournament finished, King Julien and Crown Prince Drake put together a deed to part of the tri lands in the southern corner of Dracas and Anne called Bantran and got my lands in Humana expanded to the border of Dracas. In Dracas I was also given the title of Viscount. With that, I now am in charge of land in both counties but partially control the border as well. I also enrolled Yami, Hikari, and Dragonia into our school. Yami and Hikari as freshmen in the same class, and Dragonia is a sophomore, and in the same class as Lena and Colna. I even got permission from Director Justo to build a permanent [portal] artifact on the edge of school grounds so that I and my fiancees could start developing our territory but still attend school, though he kept trying to insist that I need not attend except for days I am giving lessons. Beph also was able to write a few reports on our travels and on reference materials from the Fyreed Archives and was able to complete her associate's degree. I have taken over the financial responsibility of her school, as her fiance. We also were able to register Yami, Hikari, and Dragonia directly as blue-level adventurers. Part of it was because our entire party is gold level, and the other part because all three of them have black-level soul skills. They didn't even have to fight anybody, though I think people were too scared to even try to fight them.

I hired a company to start developing my land around the border first. They said they could have the estate done in a total of two weeks. My estate won't be as big as Marquis Richards but the design is based on it. There will be 4 floors, but only 3 of them above ground. The underground floor will serve as a training area for us. For now, other than Lilin, Lena, Circe, and Beph we are all staying at Marquis Richards estate. When I asked Marquis Richards about hiring servants he referred me to a few different places he even suggested I take Quin with me. If I do, she will likely be my head maid.

"Hubby, how do I look for my first day of school?" Hikari asks excitedly. She has the optional school uniform and I bought her a cute backpack. I offered to get her an infinite storage bracelet but she and Yami both chose to get backpacks for school and storage pouches for quests. Yami said that I would carry all the quest items anyway so there is no point in me buying her an infinite storage bracelet.

"Very adorable Hikari. Remember..." I say

"Yeah yeah, only a few people know of different realms, and if anyone asks I am Human. Hubby, I may look 14 but I am a 214-year powerful high spiritai" Hikari answers interrupting me cheerfully

"Tether, we will be fine. Now we have to go register for our courses." Yami says casually

"Okay I'll see you for lunch," I say smiling

"Eiyuu, I should also go early to register for courses as well," Dragonia says affectionately. She then gives me a light kiss and follows Yami and Hikari to the portal artifact I installed at Marquis Richard's place. There are also portal artifacts at the Humana Royal Palace, the Dracas Royal palace, The soon to be Magias Estate, and the Sylph Royal palace. All of them have user lock formations so only certain people can travel through them. This is to prevent unwanted visitors from using them, but there is a manual override to let those users bring guests through. However, it seems like most of the registered users other than me and my party members dislike using them. There is one exception outside my party.

"Nii-chan!!!!" Princess Geraldine calls out excitedly

"Spiri-tan did you jump through the [portal] again? What about school?" I ask kindly smiling

"Nii-chan takes me," Geraldine says, smiling back up at me.

"All right," I say leading her to the [portal]. We step through and arrive at the royal palace of Humana. Then I walk Princess Geraldine to her pre-school to drop her off. I then [warp] back to the Royal Palace.
