Chapter 95 Graduation!! PT2

In the morning we all get dressed in nice clothes and pick up our caps and gowns at the school. Beph and Iris are the only ones that don't get dressed up since they are the only ones not participating in the graduation ceremony today. We then head over through the portal to the school. Circe goes over to some of her classmates since she is the only real senior. Beph and Iris go to find seats. Cara goes to her parents, Dragonia finds her brother Drake, as well as General Inuka, Yami, Hikari, Lilin, and Lena, go to talk with Amarys, Anne goes to talk to Director Justo, while Colna and Gabrielle go to talk to some of their friends from the adventurer course leaving me alone with Belphene.

"Koibito, are all lower realm matriculation ceremonies such a big deal?" Belphene asks curiously

"Not all, graduation, in general, is a pretty big deal. Most people work 12 years to get to this point. Our party is kinda special in that we were able to accomplish something that allowed us to graduate early." I explained

"I see..." Belphene says flatly. She might be feeling a little left out since she didn't get to experience any school but she is still here. Seeing her like that I take out a rod of Mythril that I had enchanted for her from my infinite storage. I had already given her a [warp] dagger when she registered as an adventurer but other than that she doesn't have any equipment.

"Bel, I was going to wait until after the graduation ceremony to give you this, but here, I want you to have this..." I say handing her the rod

Belphene looks it over. "I can see it's Mythril, thank you but Koibito what do you want me to do with it?" She asks curiously

"I enchanted it with [metallurgy] so you can form any weapon you want with it. Mythril is one of the few materials that can draw in soul energy of different types and produce mana. Try pouring a little bit of your soul energy into it and clearly picture what shape you want it to form." I explained excitedly.

Belphene calmly closes her eyes and channels soul energy into the rod. It gives off a brilliant glow and then begins to morph into an elegant recurve bow. Then it turns into two short swords then finally condenses on itself to form a beautiful pendant shaped like a goat-headed sloth on a chain. Belphene breaks into a radiant smile and turns to me. She doesn't realize that everyone around her is staring at her. "Thank you, Koibito!!!" She excitedly exclaims before jumping into my arms and giving me a big kiss. I kiss her back, and when she pulls away I help her put on her new glowing pendant.

After that, one of the teachers announces for everyone to take their place. I am led onstage along with Anne, while Circe finds her spot the other girls proceed to the back of the graduates where they have seats set aside for them.

Director Justo begins the ceremony and congratulates all the graduates. He then gives an introduction to explain the program for the day. After Director Justo explains the program, we hear a fanfare. Emperor Bantran, along with Queen Lizel, come through the [portal] with some royal guards. Surprisingly Rei is the one leading the guards, even though she is getting married to Prince Geordo in a couple of weeks. Everyone is surprised, and it takes a second for everyone to bow. Director Justo steps down from the speaking platform and Emperor Bantran takes his place.

"I am here today to honor all of you graduates. Today you begin your journeys as full adults of society. Though you were legally considered an adult as soon as you revealed your soul skill, today marks the real beginning of your adult life. Whether you continue on with your education, immediately jump into the workforce or go on to become an adventurer. I thank you for being a part of our empire. Now there are a few students in your school who have gone above and beyond and contributed greatly to the research and development of technology and/or theories. The highest honor that can be bestowed on such a person is the Fyreed Order, which has not only become equivalent to nobility based on the class conferred on such an individual but as a college master's degree in terms of knowledge as well, and there are a collection of students that have been able to earn such honor and are graduating with you today. I will publicly announce and hand diplomas to each of these people who have achieved so much at such a young age." Emperor Bantran explains. He then goes to Director Justo and receives 13 different diplomas that are fancier than the others. He then goes to Queen Lizel who hands him a small pouch before returning to the stage. "First, Wats Resero Magias Fyreed Order of Mages First Class, and Fyreed Order of Nature First Class. For the development of pseudo-combination magic, combination magic, theories, and development of understanding of higher realms and the nature of Spiritai " Emperor Bantran announces. This seems to shock a lot of people. They already knew I was Fyreed Order of Mages first class but only my fiancees knew about my appointment to the Fyreed Order of Nature. I stand and graciously accept my diplomas and second Fyreed medal before sitting back down.
