After lunch, other than a few people, pretty much everyone else left. Cara, Lilin, Beph, Lena, Circe, Colna, and Gabrielle came into the audience hall led by Sebastian, who quickly left. I noticed that Queen Theresa, Queen Lizel, and Princess Stacia, as well as A young boy and a handsome man both with the same orangey hair, were all standing by the Emperor. I also noticed my Uncle Rye and a couple of royal guards including Rei standing by.

Anne walks over and joins the rest of the royal family in attendance and the rest of us take a knee and bow to the Emperor.

"You may all rise." Emperor Bantran says kindly.

"Thank you, your majesty," I answer

"First, I'll introduce you to everyone. My first wife, and queen of the Humana empire Theresa Belladonna Colum Humana." He says pointing to Theresa.

" We have already met, he is quite the interesting one," Theresa answers back with a light bow.

"My two other fiancees Lady Cara Richards and Lilin Vinka, and my party members, Beph Kani, Lena Vinka, Circe Angelo, Colna, and the newest addition to our team Gabrielle Artemesia," I say introducing everyone

When I said that Theresa seemed to get interested, "I presume that this Gabrielle is the young lady that the Lustar brothers were holding captive?" Theresa asks

"Yes, your majesty," Gabrielle answers shyly

"Well, then this might be easier than I thought," Theresa says. "These are my children, Crown Prince of the Humana Empire, Prince Geordo Belapharon Colum Humana." She said pointing to the older guy, "You have already met my daughter earlier, second princess, Princess Stacia Persephone Colum Humana. Last is my youngest son the second prince, Prince Orion Rufio Colum Humana" she finishes introducing her children. She then turns and nods to the emperor.

With that Anne rejoins our group and entwines her arm with mine. "My family is quite large, so you have not met everyone in the royal family. Now the reason I have called you and your party here is to officially bestow some well-deserved rewards. Also, there are a couple of requests I would like to ask you as my future son-in-law." Emperor Bantran says smiling.

"You honor me, your majesty," I answer back politely

"Haha, no need to be so formal anymore. Anyway, in acknowledgment of your achievements, as well as a part of your funding as a new noble, you are granted land, funds, and an estate." He hands me a scroll of a land deed.

I bow and open it and read "Land granted to the Viscountancy of Viscount Wats Resero Magias, and his descendants." It then describes the land around, and there is a map with the borders drawn. I looked astonished because I was granted lordship over the area of half the badland plains south of Jarcata. Though the quality of the land isn't great it is still a huge territory for someone who just became a noble.

"This land has been assigned to you, and you can develop it however you wish as long as the empire gets a fair amount of profits in taxes which can be negotiated later. Also to aid in starting up the territory you are granted a sum of 100 platinum bittels to be used however you see fit." Bantran says flatly as if reciting a script

"Your majesty, does that mean that the behemoth falls under my jurisdiction?" I ask cautiously

"I couldn't ask that of you, but technically yes. Though a catastrophe like that is the responsibility of the empire as a whole. I didn't know there would be a behemoth there when I granted you the lands, I am terribly sorry. Of course, you will be awarded a portion of the materials and profit of the behemoth, but that may not cover the damages that are likely to be sustained, even if most of the area is undeveloped." Bantran apologizes
