Violet couldn't stop her legs as she ran the remaining steps to hug her long-lost companion.
It was incredible to her that out of all the places she could find Julian, she found him in the first place that her feet touched above ground. Just when she thought she would never see him again, here he was, save and sound and a slight bit taller and buffer than the last time she saw him.
It had been four years, indeed. But nothing in him changed as Violet observed him with her frantic eyes. He still had his dirty-blonde locks, his mesmerizing icy blue eyes and his Gods damn grin. The only difference is that his skin was now a beautiful golden brown, showing further proof of his hard work under the scorching sun.

Violet wouldn't let go of the tight embrace she had devoured her friend in, afraid that if she let go then she would lose him once again; and she didn't want to take that risk again. She had lost too many people in the past years, like her little companion, so her heart wouldn't be able to handle any more pain and sorrow. She wanted to keep him safe in her arms, to ensure he would never leave her sight once more.
Soft giggles left her mouth as she looked up to him with tears in her eyes. "I can't believe you are here, you idiot."
Julian let out a small laugh and ruffled her hair with his heavy hand. "You see me for the first time in four years and insult me like it was any other given day." Julian said, "But I missed you too, Grey, so I will let it slide."

She let go of Julian and looked around the room, noticing the several staring eyes from a few cadets that were inside the dining hall. Violet cringed a little as she realized she had put on quite the show, but she quickly let go of it and faced Julian once again. They could all be damned, Violet had found Julian again and that was all that mattered. "Hold the fuck up. You mother fucker, out of all the places you could've gone to you chose here?" Violet couldn't believe her fellow assassin foolish decision. He was free, for goodness sake, and he chose to come here by his own will? Gods save his pour soul because Violet was really tempted to beat some sense to his brain.
"Surprise, I guess." Julian said while shyly scratching the back of his head.
"You are a gods damn idiot." Violet said, "I would beat the ever living shit out of you right here, right now, but I am too tired to devote you even more of my time."
"Do you want me to take you to your room?"
"You don't even know where it even is, dumbass. Plus, Thomas here is already my guide, so get lost."
Julian grabbed her arm with a gentle grip as Violet turned to head towards her room. "I will go with you, I am sure there's much we have to catch up on. I mean, it has been four years."
Violet pulled her arm away from Julian's grip and shook her head. "What part from a nap and rest do you not get?"
"I know, I know, but once you wake up I mean, shortie."

Knowing that putting up a fight with his stubborn ass was pointless, Violet only sighed and motioned him to follow her and Thomas to her room. The three cadets left the dining hall and headed towards Violet's new room. She couldn't wait for her head to hit the pillow, as with every step she took she felt her eyes drop like they weighed a thousand pounds.
They cross a corner and an other, till they finally reached her room. "So this is you room." Thomas said, signaling the door with his hand. "At the moment, it's only you in this room but I'm pretty sure that perhaps in the following years you might gain a roommate or two."
"That's fine by me, as long as I have a bed then that's great."

Violet opened the door to her new room and looked around. She frowned, noticing that it was dirtier than she would've liked it to be. It was noticeable that there hadn't been a single soul in here for a while, hence the miserable state that it was currently in. She didn't know what she had expected, but this certainly was no it; but it will make do, as at least she had a bed and pillows to accompany it.
Violet mentally noted that she would clean the room once she woke up from her well-deserved nap, but for now, she would leave it as it was because her exhaustion was winning her over than the irk the mess caused to her mind. She fell face-first to the bed and let out a deep sigh. Her muscles groaned in pleasure once her body rested in the bed, not having known rest for a good time now. Although the bed was not the best she had ever had, nothing like the one back as the assassin guild, it was better than the one she slept in the past four years, so she couldn't truly complain. "Thank you, Thomas." Violet whispered, "Now if you two don't mind, I will close my eyes for a while."
