Where the hell was she?
After the world had turned black, Violet swore she had only been out a couple of seconds before she woke up in this place. Whatever it was, but certainly not her world -- if she could even call this that.
"This is...?" Eren asked.
"The Coordinate where all the Paths converge, I believe," Zeke said, his words offering no sort of resolution or answer to her. He had a collar chaining him to the sand that made up this place, and he looked old. Worn out. As if he had been here longer than them. But again, she had no idea how much time had passed nor how she looked. For all she knew, she probably looked just like him.
It did not look real, whatever this place was. There was this tree-looking light, blinding shades of green and blue and white emitting from it. She imagined this was the 'Paths' Zeke referred to when Eren asked what this was.
It was weird, and she couldn't quite explain what her E/C eyes were even looking at. Yet it was real.
"Those who use the Founding Titan's power must come here." Zeke continued. "Those with royal blood, that is. The wait's been exhausting, Eren. It feels like I've been waiting years for you to recover and wake up." So that confirmed her answer as to how much time has passed; and he sure did look the part.
Zeke's answer, although it was what she looked for, was more startling than reassuring, however. "Years...have passed? What do you mean?" Violet asked.

"I'm not sure. Here, everything happens in an instant. Eren's head was blown off by Gabi, but he made contact with me before he passed on."
"But then why am I here? Why did I wake up just now and not chained like you are?"
Zeke shrugged, the chains whining with his move. "I'm not sure of that either. It seems that you're connected to Eren, therefore waking up at the same time he did and not being chained like him." He turned to look at Eren. "We succeeded." A tug of a smile on his lips. "We obtained the power of the Founding Titan."
She really did not want to believe what Zeke was saying, especially coming from a liar like him. Yet that did not stop her rage. "This was your plan all along?" She turned to scream at Eren. "You and Zeke had this planned?" The fire boiling in her veins did nothing more but boil harder.
Eren did not answer her screams, unbothered by her outburst and turning his head away, looking at something straight ahead.
"Someone's here," Zeke answered.
Violet turned to look at the upcoming person, anger burrowing her brows deep. "Who is that?" She hissed.
"Don't worry, that's...the Founder Ymir."
"Never said I was worried."
"The Founder Ymir? How do you know?" Eren asked, disbelief in his tone.
"Who else but the Founder Ymir would be wandering around in a place like this? At one time, she rebuilt my body with this earth and brought me back to life." Zeke explained. "I imagine this is where she makes Titans...Expending untold years whenever we seek the Power of the Titans."

She looked young, very young. Although Ymir might have lived years upon years, her body remained young. It was deceitful, because to her, Ymir looked no older than sixteen. Just a small girl, yet she carried a burden forever hers to carry.
"All alone here...Forever..." Eren said, in his eyes a sadden expression momentarily showing.
Yet Violet could not comprehend why, when she was the sole reason everything was hell like it was.
"Eren, command the Founder Ymir." Eren turned to look at his brother. "The time has come to fulfil our dream."
Violet held her breath, looking between the Jaeger brothers. This was indeed the moment they were waiting for, the time for their dreams to come true. And Violet was going to bear witness to the utmost destruction they were about to descend upon the world.
She really thought Eren was going to do it, especially as his eyes met with those of his brother and they stared silently, a match of sorts.
Yet instead of being as told, Eren said, "Those chains...?"
"Finally noticed them, have you? Even Violet's comment slipped past your ears. But I appreciate your concern." He picked one up in his hand, examining it as if it was the weirdest thing his eyes had ever beheld. "They're to restrict my freedom. It's the vow of renouncing war. As I thought, only you can move freely here. And Violet, too, since she's bound to you somehow." He put the chain down, eyes going back to Eren. "Only you can command the Founder Ymir..."
Eren eye's met her own, shining as if trying to communicate something to her. But instead of focusing on him, of trying to decipher what sort of apology he wanted to spit out, Violet looked away. Whatever it was he had to say to her, it was too late. She could not stand to look at him, did not want to hear whatever it was he had to say. She wanted out of here, but somehow she knew that getting out of here was not an option. Not even a consideration she could ask for.

"To fulfil my, Mr Ksaver's, and your dream." Zeke continued. "Please, save the world. Eren... Tell her to make Eldians unable to bear children till the end of time. Crushing the military with the rumbling can come later."
She turned her head quickly back to Eren, eyes blown wide. "No, Eren! Don't you fucking dare to do that."
"Euthanize every last Eldian..." Eren mused, as if in contemplation.
"No, Eren!" Violet screamed.
"Eren..." Yet Zeke sensed something else, his eyes begging like some hurt puppy. But Violet didn't notice, was about to get on her knees and beg Eren to consider. To stop this madness. And Violet had never begged for something in her life, swore she would never bow down. Yet, here, at this moment, she would do it. Anything to stop this.
But then Eren turned, eyes furrowed in an angry gaze, his green eyes burning with anger. Nothing in his face looked like the face she knew, the face of what she grew to consider her child. "There's no way in hell I'd go along with such a messed-up plan." He paused. "Sorry, brother. I was only playing along in order to get here." Violet was stunned, and Zeke too, as he walked away from them, showing Zeke just how much he meant to him in the end.
Violet could not process what just happened, stunned at everything going on. Who had he lied to, then? Zeke or herself? Just when she thought she knew what was going on, she was wrong. Always wrong.
She looked at Zeke, his face buried between his hands, words bursting out of his mouth at the betrayal he just faced. "Why, Eren? Answer me!"
Eren didn't bother stopping, didn't even bother to face his brother. He continued walking and said, "Because I was born in this world."
