Levi had come for her.
When she had thought that he had left her alone in the morning, to the gods knew where, it was actually that he had gone to Hanji's, to tell them what she had told him. And to tell them to get dressed, that they would make Eren Jaeger tell them everything he had learned. Or seen, was the better word. Maybe re-lived.
"I'm sorry for leaving you alone, but I had to get Hanji." He said. "We have to see that brat Jaeger, again."
She nodded. "Right, I'll go get ready." She got up and walked to the bathroom, picking up the clothes Levi had laid out for her in the bed. "You can go without me if you want. I might take some time."
"That's fine, Grey. I'll wait for you here."
She nodded her head again as she looked at him before she turned around and walked to the shower. She turned on the water and waited till it turn hot before she stripped herself off her clothes and sat under the running water, wrapping herself together into a tiny ball. And for some reason, she started to cry.

Violet only noticed they had new uniform's when she tried it on herself.
Instead of their usual Survey Corps uniforms, they now wore a dirty green jacket that ran all the way to their mid calves, on top of their usual white shirt and pants. She kind of like it, if she was being honest. The jacket hugged her body the right way and it was not like it was any worse than what she used to wear.
It was just another change she would have to get used to.
And seeing Eren Jaeger inside of a cell, too, was something she would get used to, considering how many days he's been locked up. Hanji joined them as she and Levi approached Eren and stood on the other side of the cell from him. Armin was standing with them, too, hearing his best friend tell them everything all over again. Everything he had dreamt. And hearing it all over again did not make it easier to understand, to process.
She had hoped it would. That by hearing it again, it would somehow point directly to her what this all meant. What it could mean. But it didn't. She remained the same, with no answers in her head.
Hanji hummed as they leaned against the wall and grabbed their chin. "The Attack Titan. Didn't you just do that?" Armin turned to look at them confused while Violet just stared at Eren, her E/C eyes almost piercing into his soul. "Huh? He did that, right? Didn't you three see it just now?"
"Yeah, but that was..." Armin trailed off.
"See! What was that all about, Eren?" Hanji said.
Violet hoped she was not the only one who did not understand what was going on.
"No, it's nothing," Eren mumbled, looking anywhere but at them.
And that's when it hit her. He was talking to himself, Violet realized. Just a few moments ago, he was mumbling stuff to himself. No-- while he was talking to himself, it was not in the usual manner most people did it. His voice...It was like he was recalling things, like he was not himself. Violet couldn't quite place it, but that was no ordinary self-talking. And she would know it since she did love doing it herself. "That's the name of your titan, isn't it?" Her voice was hoarse, a raspy thing that made her cheeks blush from embarrassment. That's what not talking much did to your voice, even if it was just a few couples of days.
"Exactly! What are you doing talking to yourself?" Hanji exclaimed.

But maybe they were the only ones that found his behaviour bizarre. "Enough, Hanji," Levi spoke up. "He's fifth-teen years old. Everyone goes through a phase."
That was no mare phase, however. And Levi knew it, too.
Because those were memories he was saying. She could feel it by the surge of energy that screamed in her blood once he started telling them all. How each story, each different memory, made her power sing in recognition.
Why they did that, she did not know. Did not hold the slightest bit of knowledge to decipher why it did that. But what she did know was that Levi was trying to protect Eren, that's why he told Hanji to knock it off. To shield him from Hanji's non-stop questionnaire.
A blessing on his part, truly. Because she, too, was getting tired of their constant questions and mumbles. Wanted a moment of silence to process all over again what the boy had said.
Levi, then, opened the door to Eren's cell. "Get out. It's over." He cut down the punishment from its ten remaining days, Violet noticed. And would've raised a brow in amusement was it not for what he said next. "Hanji just now was punishment enough." That made his decision make more sense if she was being honest. Would've decided the same thing.
