It was a chase after Ymir.
Who knew that a titan that fucking small could put one hell of a chase? The air zooming on Violet's ear was loud as Violet's squad and the cadets of the 104th speed up to catch Ymir and get back Historia. The day just kept getting worse and worse as people kept getting stolen as if they were that easily replaceable. It was starting to annoy Violet, who had tension building up in her brows and her magic was boiling from the anger that the whole situation had caused. She hadn't used her magic just yet, was letting it build up for a moment that she would need it more than any other. They might need that powerful energy blast from her sometime later, so she did her best to not use it even though her magic screamed for release.
"Captain Grey! Someone just transformed!" Armin shouted, voice barely intelligible amidst all the chaos. And indeed there it was, the light that indicated that a titan shifter had transformed. As if this day couldn't get any worse. "Get on your damn horses and chase!"

The horses were below them, following them like shadows. Violet unhooked her gear and landed on her horse, wasting no time at grabbing the reins and riding at hells speed after Ymir and Reiner who had just transformed.

Violet knew that Erwin had come at a very convenient time because if it wasn't for him and the aid he brought, this wouldn't have been possible. However, where in all hells was he? As Violet and the cadets followed after the traitors, they had not seen a single trace of Erwin anywhere on this unholy ground. In fact, they hadn't seen anyone other than the people who rode with them. What he planned, what he was doing, was beyond her. But she really wished he was here helping them since it would make this chase a lot easier than it was.
"He's not fast enough to escape! We'll catch up." Jean said, riding behind her and Julian, causing her to turn around. "This time I won't hesitate." Mikasa murmured, clenching her fists on the side, "I'll kill them both, I swear." Her grey eyes met Violet's E/C ones, the sheer determination of her words clear in the twinkle of her eyes. And something like...revenge shone through them too, the intensity of it strong enough to make anyone's skin crawl. Violet only nodded her head at the girl before turning to look back upfront. Julian's gaze met with Violet's and they nodded at each other, promising that they would get Eren back at whatever cost.

"On your gears." She growled, "We're taking this bitch down."
They were close in reach to Reiner and his squad of traitors. She flew over to them, the rest following her lead, when Mikasa flew past her and went for Ymir. The girl drew her blade out and sliced Ymir's eye without hesitating once, her blades going deep enough that it made the titan cry out in pain. Violet didn't let the titan recover from the pain as she sliced her again, following the same track Mikasa had created across her eye. She didn't let the vicious cry stop her as she flies away to make some ground when she spotted Bertholdt take refuge inside Reiner's hand, taking Eren with him. "Fuck." Her teeth clenched against each other, the sight of them cowering away making her forehead ache with tension. They were protected from their blades or any sort of attack due to the Armoured Titan's hardened skin, even as Mikasa tried to slice her way through. It was useless. They had to find another way to get Eren back, but it annoyed her to pieces how Reiner Braun and Bertholdt Hoover could make everything an even bigger royal pain in her ass with everything they did.

She landed back on Reiner and approached Jean and the rest of the 104th. "Cadets, stay here and protect Eren. If you can get him back, do it. But just watch over him, Julian and I will take care of Ymir. Is that clear?"
"Yes, Captain!" Their voices cheered.
Violet turn her back to them and stood beside Julian, the two standing on Reiner's back. They had their blades out, ready to act whenever Ymir acted out of line. They were not willing to experience more losses or mistakes, not when there was a lot on the line.
The two of them stood watching the titan shifter for a while when Violet decided to check on the 104th, leaving Julian alone with Ymir. But as she turns to look at them, her eyes caught the sight of cadets on their horses heading over their way; and they were leading a stampede of at least three dozens of titans. Her eyes threatened to leave her head, all rational thoughts completely dissolved from her mind as she said, "What the fuck is wrong with Erwin?"
