"He's Kenny the Ripper. If he's there, he'll be our biggest obstacle." Levi said, "In terms of how much of a threat he is, equate him to me as an enemy. No...with those weapons of his, he's deadlier than me."
The ride to the cathedral was a long one. And for some reason, here they were, talking about Kenny the Ripper.
What a name that was. Certainly, a name earned out of pure brutality and bloodshed. In a way, Violet had also earned her name like, The Silent Assassin, by doing the same thing Kenny the Ripper did. But hers--- hers was not as violent as Kenny was. But it had sent her mind racing when she thought about how they both had earned those names by doing the same exact thing. That people started calling them that because they both were ruthless, merciless killers in their field of expertise. And she did not know how to feel about that.
"Then he's unbeatable, at least to us..." Sasha said.
Connie sighed. "If we could meet up with the troops--"
"Absolutely not." Mikasa cut him off, sending a stern glare at the boy.
"If we wait until morning, Eren might end up getting eaten, Connie." Violet lifted her head from where it rested between her palms, rolling her head around to ease the strain the position had caused to her neck. It had been a long couple of days and the tole of escaping death multiple times was finally catching up to her fully. She had barely caught a wink of sleep, had rather been awake and alert to take care of her squad and herself. So she had tried to sleep before they got Eren back, but it had been one hell of a miserable nap. "We don't have time to waste, not anymore."

"Though, if what Captain Levi said is true, it's not like he has no weak points," Armin argued.
Violet shrugged. "Yeah, you're right. I mean, I'm sure he had trained plenty, but having combat experience is something else entirely. He's deadly, sure, but we all got out weak points." Because everyone did. Although she had been lethal, ruthless and brutal, she had still gotten caught by the Military Police. Had still fallen victim to their long years of torture with no way of getting out. They had learned her weak point, had grabbed her in a time where she was the most vulnerable regardless of the fact that she had been moulded to be a killing machine. They still captured her and made her endure hell.
She knew better than anyone that no matter how deadly they were, there was always someone or something that would bring them down.

"I wonder, how is it that you lived with Kenny the Ripper but know almost nothing about him?" Hanji said, eyes turning to Levi.
Violet stared at the two, her eyes bouncing from one to the other. Never had Violet dared to ask Levi anything from his past, as she would rather the man tell herself voluntarily than corner him into telling her.
It was hard maintaining her face neutral when the shock of the question left her jaw hanging from her mouth. "Sorry, but I only found out his full name not too long ago. Apparently, it's Kenny Ackerman." Levi turned to Mikasa, "Is he some relative of yours?"
Mikasa looked up from the floor as her shoulders tensed up a little. Her arms wrapped her legs tighter to her chest, hugging them to keep her from falling apart. It was clear that she was worried for Eren, probably the only thing that ran through her mind. And being apart from him for so long now was probably driving her to the brink of insanity. "I heard from my parents when they were alive that my dad's side, the Ackermans, were persecuted in the cities. But I never found out why the Ackermans were persecuted." She shook her head.
He hummed. "Has there ever been a moment where it's felt like power suddenly awakened inside of you?" His gaze on the girl was intense, his eyes shining with a question and something like...desperation, perhaps. She couldn't really tell with the piss poor light that the moon offered.
Violet frowned. What could he possibly mean with 'power suddenly awakened inside of you'? If anything, it worried her. Not that he was a power wielder like Eren and herself, but more for the fact that he had to deal with all the 'awakening' by himself, with no one to guide him through just like it had been with her.
Levi nor Mikasa had ever displayed some sort of power, not like the one titan wielders had or like hers. It got her thinking what they could mean, what sort of power they could possess that no one had ever really noticed. "There has." Mikasa's eyes widen as if remembering the exact moment it happened. Levi only stared at the girl with the same intensity but did not push her to say something else. It was like hearing that it was not only him that went through that really reassuring enough for Levi.
"Kenny Ackerman had a moment like that, too. One time, out of nowhere, he felt an absurd amount of strength surging within him and he knew exactly what he had to do." Levi said.
So their powers were more...mundane than the others they had seen. The Ackermans...they were something purely out of this world. They possessed something, something that made them powerful in a mundane way. They did not possess something as bizarre and wilding as Eren's or Violet's power. No, instead they possessed strength and some extra sense that was stronger than anything in this world.
And the fact that Levi was opening up about his past...It was good. It was a good thing that he was and it made her heart warmed at the fact that he felt comfortable enough to share a piece of him with them. "I've felt moments like that, too." He continued.

The light coming from a building far away caught her attention, her eyes leaving Levi to turn to see.
In front of them, a good few miles away was the Church where the tragedy had struck those long five years ago. She felt the same electricity she had felt all those days ago run through her veins again, but fainter than before. Eren was here.

Every time she was near the kid, ever since that day, a rush of electricity coursed through her body. It had gotten weaker as the days went by since Eren slammed his fist against the titan's hand. But it still was there. And the fact that she could feel it right now meant that Eren Jaeger was here and alive.
