She knocked on his office door.
While she had grown to love being in his office over time, she was dreading being there at this moment in time. She knew the words that were going to be spilt here would not be nice, would not be the kind of words they spoke all the time inside his four walls. And that was making her dread being there, knowing what was going to go down once she stepped in.
"Come in."
He knew it was her, hadn't even bothered to ask who it was, and that made the pit in her stomach turn even more with dread. She stepped into his office with cautious steps, wanting to delay this as much as she could. But there wasn't enough room to walk, so she quickly found herself in front of his desk. He didn't say anything, was not even looking at her as he stood behind his desk. The atmosphere in the room was sour, a rancid feel that made her want to leave the room faster than she entered. Oh, this was going to be bad for her.
She did not wait for him to start, let the words come out of her mouth in a desperate wish for it to be over. "Levi, I am sorry for disobeying and doing as I wish, but you have to--"
"Tch. We will have this conversation later, we are needed somewhere else."
She watched him walk towards his door with a confused frown, not understanding what was happening. Where were they needed? She hated when he didn't tell her what was going on, but she just followed him. Knew that if she asked and insisted on knowing, she would probably make her situation much worse than it was.

She saw him grab his horse and hers and brought it to her, handing her the rein as he then hopped into his horse. She did the same and followed him as they rode away from the Survey Corps.

Out of all the scenarios that had played in her mind, this was not one of them.
She had not expected to find herself, along with Levi and Erwin, in a basement about to interrogate a fifteen-year-old kid who apparently possesses titan abilities. They had waited for him to wake up for quite a while now until he had just finally regained consciousness a few minutes ago. "Where...am I?" He seemed utterly lost, and maybe a bit afraid. Violet analysed him with eagle eyes as she leaned against the wall beside Levi. She couldn't believe how a fifteen-year-old kid could possess such power, the power of humanity's most ruthless enemy. She had never heard of such a thing before, but yet again she also had never heard of her abilities before and here she was. When she was informed by Erwin about the kid's ability, she had felt relief. Relief at the fact that she wasn't the only one out there with unique abilities, although his and hers were both from different natures. While she could not become a titan like him, they both were connected by the fact that something made them different, that they possessed something that rest didn't have. And that, to her, was more relieving than she wanted to admit.

"As you can see, it's a dungeon." Erwin said, "You're currently in the Military Police Brigade's custody."
She hated that they were in a place that belonged to the Military Police, the name itself being extremely uncomfortable for her. She did not know if she had been able to hide her flinch as she heard the name leave Erwin's lips, but she just hoped she did. She had to keep reminding herself that she would only be here for this interrogation, not four eternal years more, in order to keep herself from not losing her grip. It was bad enough that to enter this damned place she had to face many people using that haunting uniform.
Erwin lifted a key that belonged to the boy, Eren Jaeger, causing him to let out a breath of pure surprise. "Yes, it's yours." Erwin said, "I'll return it later. Your home-- Dr Jaeger's basement in Shiganshina is where the secret of the Titans lies. Correct?"
She turned to the boy to see his reaction, Erwin's statement catching her interest. The secret of the titans was always so close to their reach, literally right under their noses this whole time, and they never knew of it. Never once were made aware of its existence. Eren hesitated, but quickly added, "Yes, probably. That's what my father said." So he knew this whole time.
It seemed like Levi had the same idea as her. "You have amnesia, and your father is missing, huh? Sounds awfully convenient."
"You can't blame us for not believing you, Jaeger." She added, "It is not looking good on your part."
