"Alright, one more lap and you get to rest, cadets!" Violet said, running alongside her cadets, taking the lead. For the past couple of days, training her cadets and overall doing her captain duties has been significantly easier, ever since her talk with Levi. She has been more relaxed and flexible, been less stressed than before as she only followed her instincts and stop worrying about the thoughts that made her question whether she was doing right or wrong. She started doing what she knew would make her cadets be the best of the best, and that's all she trusted and followed. It was better that way, as she was now enjoying her duties just as much as her cadets were enjoying being under her rule.
She didn't even know, now that she thought about it, why she was stressing over what she should do as a captain when she could've been following her gut feeling and knowledge since the very beginning. To make it even worse, she came to such realization with Levi's aid. Not by her own, which made her mood sour just thinking that she needed the help of a man to come to such a conclusion. She let out a sigh and went for some water, her throat begging for the refreshing drink. "Oi, here." She said. "You did well today." She handed the glass to Petru, the cadet she had previously let her temper out on a few days ago. "I'm sorry for my outburst, I know I've told you twice already, but I was a complete asshole and I shouldn't have let myself explode like that."
"N-no, you're fine Captain!" He said, grabbing the drink. "I completely understand."
She ruffled his head and smiled at him. "Alright, then. Thank you, Petru." She grabbed a glass for herself and made her way to Julian, who was talking with Theo and Thomas. "Wow, my three least favourite people are becoming besties!" She smirked.
The three boys turned to look at her, all of them smiling at Violet, amused at her everyday humour. Julian looked down and squinted his eyes. "Oh, there you are. Thought I heard an annoyance somewhere around here."
Violet shoved her elbow deep into his ribs, rolling her eyes at Julian's remark, making the boy whine in pain. "Who knows? That could've been Levi for all we knew." She said. "His whole presence is a pain in my life all the damn time."

"You seriously don't like Captain Levi, huh?" Thomas said, amusement glistening in his eyes. Violet shrugged, shaking her head in the progress. "No, I do. Don't get me wrong, I loathe him but I actually find him somewhat decent, which is why I got to convince myself I don't like him that much. Gods forbid I form some sort of relationship with him."
Julian laughed, swinging his arm over Violet's shoulder as he pulled her closer and ruffled her hair. "That would just be terrible, wouldn't it be? You already like me too much to make room in that cold, little heart of yours."
Violet growled. "With what you just said, you just earned yourself a ticket straight out of the warmness of my heart, you dipshit." She said. "Oi, Thomas. You're my new favourite person."
"Am I that replaceable?" Julian said, faking to be hurt as he placed his free hand over his heart. Violet shrugged out of his grip and walked away. "Break is over. Get your asses here, now!"

"I want to teach you all something new." She continued, as everyone gathered around. "Can I have a volunteer?" Theo raised his hand, volunteering first like he always had. Violet signalled him over to her side and made everyone make room for the two of them. "Alright, watch closely. This is another technique for self-defence, a way to bring someone down who is either having the upper hand in the situation or is much larger than you in size." She said. "I was taught this when I was an assassin, and it's probably one of the techniques I used the most when I was countering someone who was much bigger than me."
She grabbed Theo's arm and guided him closer to her. "I'm going to need for you to put me in a chokehold, just for now." Theo cautiously wrapped his arm around the small of her neck, scared to hurt her in any way. Once he had her on his grip, Violet started explaining to all her cadets what they were to do in a situation like this, showing them all one of her signatures moves back when she was the Silent Assassin.

Levi was making his way to his office when the sound of Violet's cheering stopped him mid-way on his journey to the four walls he now knew by heart.
He turned to see what all the cheering was about when he spotted the young girl clapping her hands frantically at seeing one of her cadets flip her teammate over her shoulder with a brutal force, ending with another cadet wincing on the ground from the loud impact. She was smiling from ear to ear, a happy look on her face as she squealed to the cadet how much of a good job she had done. Levi nodded his head, the sight of Violet being in a better mood with her cadets bringing a sort of pleasure to his heart. It was good to know his advice had helped her sorting out the problems roaming through her mind, as he thought he had done a terrible job at advising the younger girl. He was terrible with advice and comfort, had always been due to the way he had been brought up. It was not his area of expertise and would never be. But when he saw the girl in a state where she looked ready to bite someone's head off, he decided to come up with some advice he would've liked to hear in those beginning days when he was first appointed to such a high position. He knew what he told Violet would've been advice he would've loved to hear and would've followed, so he enlightened her with what he thought was the best advice. He was glad he had done it, as seeing her in such joyous mood was a sight for sore eyes; and he also did not want to have his head bitten off by the mighty wrath Violet Grey became when she was in a foul mood.

He had done a good deed, which was enough to keep him alright for a good while. So he did have good advice to offer after all, huh? Even that surprised him more than he showed. Levi started to walk away, satisfied as he discovered what the loud cheering was all about. He left with a nod of approval and made his way to his office, his eyes never leaving the Captain and her every move until he was forced to look away.
