Everything pissed Violet off: annoying people, incompetent people, injustice, you name it.
However, what was pissing her off beyond words was nothing of the sort. What was testing her patience consisted of three different people all at different times.
Levi, Hanji and even Commander Erwin have been watching Violet all throughout her training sessions. And it didn't happen just one day, it was now becoming an everyday occurrence. Every single day. One of them stood watching her all the time, sometimes writing something down in a notebook they all seemed to carry around. She never got to know what it was that they scribbled down as they observed her every move, their eyes never leaving her body, as they just stood there and watched like it was a normal thing to do. She couldn't even decipher what she had done to trigger them to write. It was hard to ignore their constant staring, as it made the girl terribly uncomfortable. It was tedious, an extra annoyance in her life. She felt pressured to continue practising even when her lungs screamed for rest and she didn't like that one bit.

Violet's gut told her all of this was related to her position for Captain, after all, why would Erwin even be watching her too? She didn't like this at all, they even watched her when she talked to other cadets and when she helped them out. They were even more attentive when she personally trained other cadets, such as Thomas. She had promised him she would teach him self-defence among other things.
So even two months later, as Violet taught Thomas moves she had learned during her up-bringing as an assassin, the three higher-ups continued watching her and writing things down. How many things about her could they even write down? She wasn't even that interesting of a person; well she was, but it was just getting out of hand.
"Gods, how much longer are they going to watch me for? By this point I won't be able to put up a good show." Violet mumbled as she dodged a punch from Thomas.
"A show? Violet, you're literally acting the same." She shifted her feet and moved her momentum to her feet on the front, making her punch become even stronger as she aimed it towards the cadet she was training. "I know, Thomas." She said, "It was pure sarcasm, you should know better coming from me."
Thomas dodged the attack in time and flipped backwards to gain some ground. "I know, I know. Sorry." He said. "Do you even know why?"
She scoffed. "I have a couple of ideas in mind."

The conversation ended there, as the two kept on fighting, Thomas using the techniques Violet had spent weeks teaching him. Violet forgot about Hanji's watchful eyes as she observed how well Thomas now applied each skill she had taught, having to pay more attention than before to avoid getting punched on the face. She was really proud of the younger boy, he was a fast learner indeed, which made teaching him pleasure, not only because he was her friend, but he was sharp and quick too, which made her job much easier.
They continued sparing for a while longer, Hanji keeping watch all time long. Violet turned to watch Hanji from time to time, feeling the urge to check if they were still there, even as she sometimes corrected Thomas in the fight. Once Thomas decided to call it a day, Violet picked up her stuff and left storming to the storage room to put all her used equipment away. She no longer could stand Hanji's eyes on her, it was starting to drive her mad. It had been occurring every day now for months, two long months, that it had gotten so unbearable that Violet once punched Julian hard from the frustration while they trained during mid-day.

She opened the door violently, the thing shaking violently from the force, and she was so tempted to throw everything to the floor and have someone else pick it up and put it in its place, the stress finally getting to her. However, her need for everything to be tidy beat her and she carefully put everything away, throwing away the idea of making a mess. As she organized a few things that were left a mess, thanks to other cadets, she heard the door open behind her. "What did the damn door ever do to you, Grey?"
Violet recognized that voice anywhere, didn't know if she did not mind it or hated it, as it was usually associated with words that easily pushed her buttons. "Captain Levi, what a pleasant surprise." A fake smile adorned her lips as she turned to look at the man who had also been observing her for months. "Did you came to watch even further?"
"Tch, I came to put this shit away, now move." He said.
Violet moved out of the way and observed the man as he put his equipment away. She was so irritated just by seeing him here, it was as if she didn't get a break from any of the three. They were everywhere and nowhere, it just made Violet want to pull her hair off her head and choke them all with it after she had left her scalp bald. While, yes, the Survey Corps was a relatively small place, couldn't they just leave her alone for once? What was worse was that, even as she ate, as she had to sit at Levi's table all the time, she feels the burning gazes of the three higher-ups coming from every which direction.
