After informing Squad Levi and the entirety of the Survey Corps about the upcoming expedition, everyone started practising and memorizing the new formations they required. It was weeks and weeks of restless days and of training their bodies to be in top-tier shape. Nobody was able to hardly get a break, as this mission would prove a new salvation if it all went okay.
Along with relentless training, Violet Grey also shared with the whole Survey Corps the secret about her powers, a week later after telling Squad Levi.
Although she wasn't completely ready to share her secret with such a mass amount of people, Violet saw the need to overcome her uneasiness for the sake of the mission and their safety. It wasn't something she was ready for, her consciousness telling her to not do such a thing, but for this mission to be a success, it was crucial that they also knew the full extent of her powers and how she would play an important role in this expedition.

It was not an easy feat by any chance, as it was easier said than done. The girl was more nervous this time than compared with Squad Levi because there was something so stomach-churning about telling such a deal to a number of people that could rival a small-town population. While she could give zero fucks about what people thought about her, there was something entirely different about people thinking that she was a monster and a threat to them all. Violet had been called such names before, multiple times that she had lost count, and no matter how many years ago it's been, they still pained her just as if they were new, fresh wounds. She didn't want to be called such names again, not anymore; especially for something that she didn't ask for in the first place.
But Violet wasn't able to worry much about their reactions, as being up in that stage minimized her abilities to look at every single cadet and their faces. That fact helped a lot ease her raging consciousness, as not knowing how everyone looked made her feel some sort of peace after revealing a secret so big; however, in the following days, she heard the awful remarks that her heart sunk to hear among a few cadets as she walked past them. They didn't even try to hide the fact that they talking so cruelly about the girl, even proceeding to talk even louder to make sure she heard what they thought about her and her unholy powers. It was to expected, Violet knew it would happen inevitably; but it didn't stop them from hurting the girl, enough to make her blink back her tears that threatened to fall when those words reached home.
"Oi, Grey." Levi said, brining her back to the present, "You better stop dwelling inside your mind and look up front before they open the gods damn gate."
"I was listening to you, if you were worried, Captain." Violet said glancing at him with a smile, "Heard every single little sentence that came out of your fucking mouth." Which was a complete and total lie on her part as she indeed was dwelling inside her mind. It was something she tended to do in missions for some reason, happening far back ever since her first mission as an assassin. She was clueless as to why she did it before such an occasion, moments before an important occasion, but it always happened like some sort of ritual. Maybe it was a technique to calm herself down or steady herself, Violet truly didn't know but it always occurred without a doubt in her mind.

"Tch." Levi said, "Grab the damn reins and follow me, the damn gate is already open."

Putting the blades away after landing on a tree branch nearby, Violet turned to Captain Levi who had signalled her over to the branch the two were currently standing on.
They had reached the same part of the forest just like on the last mission, Squad Levi taking over the middle side of the area. Everyone had taken their positions on a branch like indicated, covering the area where Violet would battle the titan with her powers in case something went wrong. They had left at least two trees between each cadet, making sure they weren't a liability to each other in the case the whole expedition went to shit. While they were optimistic that Violet would be able to achieve her task successfully and be humanity's new salvation, there was always that awful possibility that no one wanted to come true.
"You know what do, brat." Levi said, as he pointed to an abnormal titan approaching at a fast rate over to they were located. "Use the abilities you can control best and don't let this whole thing go to shit."
Nodding her head as she stared at the titan getting close with each blink of an eye, she turned to salute Captain Ackerman goodbye and hooked her gear to another tree. Her body twisted and turned as she gained proximity to the racing beast, hooking and disconnecting her gear with each tree she barely got a glimpse of due to how fast she travelled. With each inch that she got closer to the beast, she felt the crackle of her magic awakening as she readied her first attack.Violet's heart drummed at its normal beat, maybe a bit faster due to the adrenaline coursing through her veins and the movements she was making her body obey. However, her mind was clear as the day as her eyes met those cruel, empty ones of her prey.
