Anniversary

"Good mornin' my love." Bucky smiled at his husband once he turned his head from the engineers neck just to kiss him softly. 

"Good morning amore mio." Tony kissed him back. 

"What day is it?" Bucky looked up as they hadn't gone on a mission in a while so he can't remember what day of the week it is. 

"I don't know, what day is it?" Tony thought the soldier was joking around so he amused him. 

"Uh... Tuesday?" Bucky was confused with the question because did he not just ask him that? 

"No, it's-" Tony then looked at him closely to see if he was being serious or not. "Wait... are you actually me what day it is?" 

"Yeah, that's why I asked the question love, I don't know what day it is." Bucky scoffed at the weird reaction the mechanic had. 

"Uh, yeah-yeah, it's... it's Tuesday." Tony nodded along slowly as he eyed him carefully. 

"Okay, thanks." Bucky hummed, kissed the billionaire, then got up just to get dressed and ready for the day. 

"Yeah... yeah, sure." Tony looked at him then got up just to get dressed as well but didn't stop eyeing the man.

"So, what he get ya?" Laura smiled at the genius once they got to their home; all the girls, the guys, and even the kids as well - if any of them had kids that is. 

"I think he forgot." Tony muttered to the girls. 

"What?" They gaped at that. 

"Yeah." Tony nodded along to their reaction. "This morning, he asked me what day it was so I went along cause I thought he was making a joke," he shrugged and the girls nodded along because they understood that moment all to well with their partners, "but he was being serious so I answered and he hasn't done anything since." He scoffed then tossed the spatula in the sink as he gave the girls looks that he was definitely mad at the soldier but he wasn't going to say anything to him because the man needs to figure it out on his own. 

"Soldiers." They scoffed and rolled their eyes in understanding of his position all too well because it's happened to all of them as well so they knew that he wanted the Veteran to figure it out on his own because they've done that too. 

"What's wrong with soldiers?" Steve cocked a brow as he gave them looks while the Sergeant looked over and so did the Falcon. 

"Everything." Tony deadpanned then went back to washing the dishes while the girls nodded their heads in agreement, the war Veterans gave them looks, and the others snickered. 

"Like what?" Bucky spoke up as he eyed his husband carefully. 

"What part of everything do you not understand?" Tony scoffed as he was still washing the dishes. 

"Oh boy." The guys muttered as they stepped back instantly because they could tell the mechanic was mad, at the Sergeant more specifically, and they most definitely did not want to get in the middle of that. 

"Well... we gotta go." Scott muttered then they all raced out of the couples house. 

"You mad at me love?" Bucky eyed him. 

"Nope." Tony hummed as he shook his head lightly and the girls had started to help him with the dishes by drying them off and putting them away as well. 

"Ya sure love?" Bucky was still watching him carefully. 

"Mhmm." Tony nodded along in assurance. 

"So you don't mind if I go to the store with the guys?" Bucky continued eyeing him as he wanted to make sure before he made the man even more pissed.
