"I've concluded, I want a dog."

"Tones, you've got to be joking." Rhodey scoffed as he gave his best friend a look.

"Doesn't this place feel once species short?" Tony pondered as he gestured around the room to his friends.

"Tones, why do we need a dog?" Nat scoffed.

"Cause I want a dog," Tony grumbled.

"Besides, we live in a world where our days aren't normal." He sighed.

"Don't you want something that's a normal creature throughout this world?"

"Hence, dog," He preened.

"So, who wants to come with me to pick him out?" He smiled as he looked at his friends for some help.

"Out." Rhodey scoffed.

"Me too. Sorry, Tones, but I have a date." Nat shrugged.

"With who?"

"His name is "the couch," and if it goes well, we're gonna have a threesome."

"What?" Tony scoffed.

"With the TV." Nat hummed as she got out of her seat at the table to lay on the couch.

"Alright, seriously, anyone?" Tony groaned.

Nobody wanted to go with him, so he huffed and grabbed his stuff.

"Fine, but none of you get to play with my puppy. It's all mine."

They scoffed but waved at him as he headed out to retrieve a dog.

Tony walked into the store with determination in his step.

"You look like a man who knows what he wants." One worker smiled as they walked over to the billionaire once he walked in.

"I want a dog." Tony affirmed.

"You've come to the right place." The worker chuckled.

"What kind of dog are you looking for? Small? Big? Medium-sized? Hyper-allergenic? More of a guard-dog type of dog? Show dogs?"

"I want a big, fluffy puppy." Tony smiled at the man, making said worker laugh.

"Noted."

"Winter dog? One for hiking? One for work? What's your preference?"

Tony looked around as the worker's voice was distant once his eyes set on one dog.

He squatted down to see this one puppy.

He was grey with a black streak across his face, and one arm was missing.

The dog didn't seem to notice it nor care for that matter.

The animal trotted around the pen, even snarling at any other dog that would go near his food.

Tony chuckled when the puppy started to chase its tail.

Yapping and smiling, the dog waddled over to him.

"Hey you." Tony giggled as he picked him up.

"Oh, that one is none for being difficult and rather aggressive." The owner warned.

"Oh, he looks like nothing but a sweetheart." Tony smiled as he laughed when the animal wouldn't stop licking him.

"How much is he?"

"$750."

Tony smiled as he kept kissing the dog and laughing as the animal was licking him all over.
