The next morning, Max was pacing back and forth in his chamber restlessly. Bright had requested him to get him more information on Luke's family background rather than being the senator's son as he wanted to know more about Luke in person and while Max did that in the night, he discovered something really disturbing.

How could Tul not tell me all along? No how is he my bodyguard at the first place?

Max thought as his heart questioned their relationship again and again. He thought he knew Tul well but apparently all the things the boy had told to him were lies.

He told me he is a son from a lower class mother, but why? Were we not in a relationship to tell each other about everything? Why did he lie to me about this? Perhaps... am I not important to him like he is to me?

Max's thoughts summed up like a train and his brain racked so hard that he finally stopped pacing and groaned loudly while messing hair frustratingly

On the cue, Tul entered the chamber with a smile and seeing Max's face and knowing that the prince was frustrated, Tul wondered why it is early in the morning.

"Maxin... you look troubled. Are you okay?"
Tul wrapped his arms around Max from behind giving his a tight hug and oddly, Max tensed for his touch

"Are you like Gulf too?"
Max's voice was extra weak and he sounded like he was breaking into thousands of pieces from inside.

"What do you mean?"
Tul asked puzzled, his arms still wrapped around Max's waist and his chin on the boy's shoulder

Max slowly detached his hands from the waist and turned to the boy with bloodshot eyes.

"Maxin... did you cry?"
Tul asked unsure of why Max was behaving like this and Max stared deep into his eyes with foreign emotions which Tul did not understand.

"Maxin..."
Tul said once again but he was cut in mid air

"I did not cry..but I feel like doing that now"
Max said in a very weak tone which could bring out the weakest of Tul without even knowing a reason

"How can you Tul. No why did you hide it?"
Max asked accusation filling his eyes or more like... pain? Tul did not know

"W..what did I hide from you?"
Tul asked totally confused and puzzled and he was also starting to get scared of Max's eyes. He felt like the old Max was back again.

"How can you be Luke's brother Tul? How can you be the senator's son? You told me you were from the lower class yet you were one among the noble..."

Now Tul was panicking for real. He did not want Max to know this ever. He was quite sure it won't come out either because the senator does not claim him as his son to begin with.
He did not want Max to know about his this side. The side he wish that never existed. The side that made him feel unwanted to the world. The side which made the world look down at him.

He entered the barracks because he wanted to escape that and now it is back haunting him again.

Tul could not form his words. He did not know how Max got to know about it within a night and moreover Max accusing eyes were killing him. They looked so betrayed.

"Why Tul? A cat got your tongue?"
Max asked furiously and then glared at him with red eyes filled with tears.

Suddenly Max grabbed him by his neck and pinned him to the wall and Tul did not even try to fight. For one. He knew Max was stronger. Two. He was too shocked to digest everything.

"Tell me Tul! What does the senator want? He want you to kill me? Kill Mile? Mew? Bright?"
Max shouted as he tightened the grip on Tul's neck and Tul was losing air inch by inch.
