Chapter 52: Leave The Poor Me Alone

Bright, Win, Gulf and Sam returned to Bright's chamber after a while when Bright and Win seemed to calm down and was able to get a hold of their emotions.

Apo and Tul had also returned and was waiting for them and once Bright and the rest entered and closed the door behind everyone settles in their places for the meeting

Apo gave Win a pat on the back and Tul nodded with encouragement to which Win nodded in response to both. He felt really great to have people like this in his life and he honestly felt blessed to have come this far with them

"Let's first discuss about the duties according to the prevailing condition"
Mile started and everyone was on all ears

"First, even though Love and Davika are confined for a week, it is better if we update them about what we discussed. So I will assign Apo for Love and Tul for Davika. What you two have to do is relay this discussion to them so that they know what is going on"

Both the bodyguards nodded and Mile continued

"For now, you two will be respectively in charge of their protection as well."

"Yes sir."
Both the boys replied

"I am thinking of removing Davika's Head bodyguard and replacing him with another and I would prefer if it is one of us to accompany her. I mean it is better if this whole thing becomes a close circle now."

"I agree."
Max said immediately supporting Mile's idea and others nodded their heads.

"The question is who. Right now, we can let Tul protect her. But he is Max's bodyguard and there maybe times he won't be able accompany her. Specially if the things steams up in the future. The problem is not about the job of protection. The rest of her bodyguards can do that. But we need someone she can trust and share what is on her mind who is basically good with defending skills to protect himself. For Love, we can put Apo and Win alternately to accompany her."

Mile said thoughtfully and everyone looked at each other trying to figure out what to do while Mew's eyes fixed on one person. Soon enough, everyone's attention turned to him and that person stood confused

"Why are you looking at me?"
Sam asked raising one of his eyebrows and then Mile turned to Bright

"Can we trust him?"

Bright instinctively turned to Gulf and the boy smirked

"Except for his unbearable sharp tongue, everything else of him can be trusted."
He said approvingly and Sam immediately backed down

"You guys are not doing what I am thinking"
He said defensively taking a few steps backward awkwardly and Mile grinned

"Oh no. That is exactly what we are going to do."

"YOU ARE NOT DOING THAT OKAY? LEAVE THE POOR ME ALONE! Like I am defenseless myself!"
Sam was almost throwing a tantrum but none of the others paid any heed to that while Gulf muttered though everyone could here it

"And he asked me whether I can talk informally to a prince..."

Sam glared at Gulf and everyone was smiling by now. Sam's comical face was providing them quite a good humour and it was obvious that the boy was planning of ways to kill them
