Chapter 49: Because I Trust You To Understand

Mile and Bright walked down in the hallways in a carefree manner after meeting with the Emperor and Empress.

They were pretty relaxed after a long time because it was now all again at the right place. The discussions with their parents had also gone well as once Bright reported that they found Gulf in Goene, Mile for his surprise had requested Gulf to be taken back into the Silver Line. What had their spirited up the most was the Emperor agreeing to it.

None of them were speaking to each other as they walked because both boys were people of a few words but both of them were grinning ear to ear

"Phi..."
Bright finally broke the comfortable silence making Mile look at him with a smile.

"Are you busy now?"

"Not really. Nattawin went with your Metawin boy to meet Mix and I will have to wait until he return to start my work."
Mile replied and Bright smirked instantly

"Work in bed... I see.."
Bright said in a sing song tune and Mile glared at him playfully.

"As if that is all we've got to do."
The elder prince rolled his eyes while giving the response and Bright chuckled.

"Actually Phi... I just want to report of somethings that we got to learn about in Goene and they are pretty important. Can we talk a bit?"

Mile stopped walking and turned to Bright with one of his eyebrows raised

"Do you really need to ask for permission from me for anything Bright? Need I to remind you that you are the fourth prince."

Bright pouted when Mile told that to him in a slightly scolding tone and then whined

"I was just checking with your schedules na..."

"We can talk. Come let's go to my chamber."
Mile said nodding his head, ignoring Bright's whines and Bright followed him like a little kid asking for candy

"Stop pouting Bright..."
Mile said sighing and Bright scowled

"What? Is it that irritating?"

"Yes."
Mile replied at once

Too cute you dumbass.
His mind muttered as he smiled himself.

Back then when his emotions first started change this way, Mile found it strange and felt like it was not himself but as the time went by, he loved what he has become and how sensibe he has got. On top all, he was glad that now he could understand his little brother well and for all that, he will be totally thankful for Apo.

Both the boys entered Mile's chamber and dismissed the bodyguards following them before settling onto the couches in the middle of the room

"So... what is it you wanna tell?"
Mile asked as he removed his coat and put it on the hand rest of the couch

"A several things."
Bright started from narrating about what Sam, Gulf, him and Win discussed and also added what he thought about it.

It was still doubtful for Bright that Fero would take the side of Crescent as he knew something of Fero that others did not. He figured it out the moment he got to know the founder was the Crescent was Senator Carlos.

"But why do you think Fero will not betray us for Crescent? Specially at a time the South faction apparently is revolting against us. He is of the South too."
Mile said a questionable face approaching and Bright sighed

"If I tell you why... would you keep quiet about it?"

"The sole reason of us talking here alone is that you want this to be discreet right?"
Mile asked sarcastically and Bright sneered
