Win Training Sam
- Basic combat, defense, endurance and instinctive skills -

It has been a while since Sam and Win started to walk through the hallways towards the training grounds and Sam has been unusually quiet making Win feel extremely uncomfortable

"Sammy?"
Win turned to look at the boy who seem to be lost in his thoughts with his fingers fidgeting and Win kind of stared at the rare sight.

It was not rare but extremely rare to see Sam like this. Sam is guy who would never waver no matter how tough the situation for him and right now when Sam was acting like he was being taken to death, Win immediately knew he had to put the boy's mind at ease

"How much more scared can you be?"
Win asked tauntingly from the boy and as much as Win wanted to be gentle with the guy he did not know how to.

From the day they met at Goene to this very day he was going to train Sam, there was not a single day in Win's life that he did not bicker with Sam in a conversation.

He expected Sam to rebuke to his snicker but what he got was totally unexpected

"I don't know...."
Sam said exhaling deeply and Win immediately stopped on his tracks

This is not right.
He said to himself as he turned to Sam

"You don't want to train, do you?"
He asked from the boy gently and Sam sighed. For a few minutes, the younger boy kept silent and Win let him be, because Sam was looking so anxious that it was starting to scare Win a bit

"You don't have to do it, if it is too hard..."
Win said again and Sam sneered to which Win guessed was at himself

"Sam...?"

"It is not hard Win. Honestly, I am scared... this thing is not my cup of tea."
Sam said softly looking down and Win immediately held the chin of the boy with his fingers and made Sam look at him

"Then you don't have to..."

"But I want to"
Sam said firmly and then gave Win an exasperated look

"I badly want to and I really like to but I am such a coward I don't have the strength to."

Win gave him a wide smile at his words and then with a warm smile on his lips, he put his arms around Sam's neck

"Please Sam. You are anything but a coward. Don't make me list the brave things you have done. If you don't want to do this, you don't have to. Because if you feel like that, I don't want to force you into learning that and no one of us will be disappointed in you..."
He paused and then looked into Sam's doe eyes which were now staring at him, lost.

"... I know you are worried about it. That is why I mentioned. But.... if you are feeling that not having the strength is the only barrier and you want to try this and learn this, please... let all your inhibitions go away and trust me on this."
Win completed and he sweared he saw Sam's eyes shining

"So what do you want to do?"
Win asked and Sam smiled

"I want to learn"
The younger boy replied firmly and Win grinned
