"Tul"
Davika called out the bodyguard as soon as she got up from the bed and Tul immediately came inside the chamber

"Yes, Your Highness?"

Just then Davika turned to him frowning and then clicked her tongue

"Just as I assumed. You haven't slept but has been guarding me on the door the whole night. I really can't believe how you put up with this."
She was complaining on top of her voice and Tul grinned

Well I can make out with your brother the whole night and yet work with the smiley face the whole next day. This is nothing?
He badly wanted to say that to the girl but he chose not to.

"Come. Have tea with me. You must be pretty tired. And let me guess... after this, you will be going to Maxin for duty, am I right?"

She asked cocking her eyebrow and Tul nodded pettily.

"Can't he really cut you off some slack? I mean you need sleep!"
She was whining all her way while she poured tea from the jug to two cups for her and Tul and Tul kept looking at her while smiling to himself.

"Tul."
She called again and this time Tul looked at her with a wide smile

"Yeah?"

"Why do you love that prick?"
Davika asked and Tul gave out a snorting laugh

"Did you really had to call him like that?"
He asked while walking towards her and Davika gestured him to sit on the opposite chair to her to which gladly oblidged. His legs were a pain anyway.

"I did."
Davika replied shortly as she took a sip of the tea and suddenly Tul broke into a hige chuckle

"You two will go well..."
He muttered in way the girl cannot hear and Davika tilted her head

"Go well what?"
She asked and Tul shook his head

You and Sam.
He thought

"Nothing."
He said shrugging and Davika pointed the butter knife at him playfully

"Don't you dare to lie to me Pakorn. What were you muttering about?"
She asked eyeing her and Tul gave her a mocking smile

"I'm scared. Trust me. But I won't mind dying by your hands, Princess Davika"
He winked as he said and Davika gasped dramatically and then shook her head

"Did you just flirt with me? Right in front of my tea? While dating my brother? If Maxi gets to know this, he will skin you alive."

"He won't believe you even if you said I flirted with you"
Tul said confidently and Davika hummed at him grinning while taking a sip of the tea again

"I see. My brother is wrapped around your little finger..."
She said and Tul laughed

"Which of your brothers are not wrapped around the little finger of their boyfriends?"

"The audacity you possess Tul!"
Davika exclaimed breaking into a laughter and Tul joined her enjoying his own tea.

"By the way, your father, Duke Aaron wanted to see you today and he said it is for a family discussion. But since I let him know you are confined, he said it is fine. I just wanted to let you know that such a thing happened."

Davika's eyebrows furrowed instinctively though Tul did not take much notice of it.

"Family gathering, you say?"
Davika asked and Tul nodded not paying much heed to it. It was normal for the Duke to have private family gatherings after all. He is a busy man and whenever he gets a free time, it was his habit to call Davika and spend time with her. So Tul obviously did not fond anything odd in it. But Davika did.
