The last time we ever get to see old DC has always made me sad

He's so broken and gone. His mind has completely snapped. 

I think that's why I like headcanoning and keeping DC around, just to give him a better canon then he got. I know I've headcanoned him angsty before but now I like that he has two dads who love him and five partners who adore him, and a family that'd do everything for him
