Despite their torrid history, when Virginia heard Atlanta burned, he was scared Kentucky didn't make it out
It was awkward....really awkward but he actually went to go visit Kentucky and the twins once he found out they were out
That would be the first time he met the twins too like....he knew of them. Obviously. He used them as leverage to try and get Kentucky to join the Confederacy. But he never met them.
When Virginia found out Kentucky stuck up for him for coming back into the Union, he was shocked. Why?
And while Kentucky didn't condone anything he did, he did say 'I don't know, I guess I just want you in the twins lives'
Okay but in doing my looking, I discovered that Georgia did come back into the Union....only to majorly fuck it up because racism and the government was like 'nope' and basically put them back on restriction
Like I'm sorry can you imagine how pissed Georgia was
