But I've writing like three fics about it already

The main six (and Wyoming's) reactions in that last chapter

Cali breaks down. A complete breakdown. The west help him on this. Utah goes in full dad mode and gets the others to help get Cali away. He also has to stop New Mexico from going in there and fighting.

New York freezes. Is it PTSD because he can remember 9/11 or just the image of the protestors storming the Capitol, his boyfriend potentially unsafe inside? The answer is yes. Massachusetts and Connecticut have to physically drag him away.

Texas, Louisiana, and Florida join the rest of the south and midwest in storming the Capitol to try and get around the protesters inside. It doesn't take much to take Texas down, despite his fighting attitude he's really worried. It takes more to get Louisiana to go down and the police actually has to stop Florida

Wyoming wants to join the south and midwest in getting there but some of the west, and some of the New England states won't let him. He's frustrated and angry and trying to get out of their grip, and he nearly does a few times until Pennsylvania grabs him. He doesn't break down until he's far away from the rest

The dads:

Georgia has a complete breakdown. Tennessee stays behind to comfort him but Georgia can't be comforted. He blamed himself fully for turning blue.

Kentucky joined the rest of the south, nearly getting as far as Florida before being taken down. His only thought is his babies aren't safe and he's not losing them, not like Vania
