Because I need my shit to be organized
1775-Revolutionary War starts. Georgia meets a cocky young soldier fighting for Virginia named Daniel, or as Virginia calls him Kentucky. Georgia is immediately put off by his cocky attitude and rejects him
And by reject him, I mean he pulled an Anne of Green Gables
1777-Two years later Kentucky is sent home because of an injury, and Georgia cares for him since Virginia is still at war. Over the course of their time together, Kentucky drops the cocky attitude, Georgia sees him for who he is, and they fall in love
1783-Revolutionary War ends
1783-1789-The United States attempts to become a Confederation to weak success. Along this time, several personifications of the national governments are born but die from sickness or weak health. Georgia, who volunteered to help care for each one when they're first born, is heart broken.
(Headcanon time: Georgia secretly named each baby that was born and kept it in a book somewhere. Their names were: Adam, Bryan, Christopher, Daniel, Edward, and Franklin. He didn't dare mention what happened to the girls.)
1787-Elizabeth 'Betsey' Jackson and her husband give birth to one of the key governments of the United States, Adam Jackson, or 'Gov' as he's later known
March 1789-Some of the states confide in Georgia that there may be a new government being born soon, but Confederation being Who He Is, they want him and Kentucky to keep the mother safe.
April 1789-Diana Kelly moves in with Kentucky and Georgia
July 4, 1789-After a long and difficult labor, Diana gives birth to twins; Jennifer Grace Kelly (IDC) and George Thomas Kelly (DC). Severely weakened by having twins, Diana begs Kentucky and Georgia to be the one to raise her babies before dying.
The other states are stunned by Diana's dying wish, but allow it, figuring when the twins are old enough they can be removed.
1790-Kentucky becomes a state. For more room to raise the newborns (remember my headcanon that states age slower then humans), Kentucky and Georgia move to well, Georgia, to Georgia's old farm house.
Even if Geo and Tucky think marriage is 'for you young folks, not us old folks' Georgia is unofficially Kentucky's husband...and vice versa
