The moment that he had been waiting for was finally here. He looks at the DJ and gives him a thumbs up before taking a deep breath. It was now or never.

The music starts playing and he walks to her and starts to sing.

It was a complete surprise to her that he was singing in front of so many people. She had known him for years now and he had always been an introvert, usually keeping to himself and the close friends who managed to break past that barrier.
