Vetri extends his hand out to the woman in front of him, with a smile. In all these years that he knew her, she was no doubt his favorite. Yet today, as she stood before him wearing his favorite color and outfit, a blue saree, Vetri finally saw her as a woman. His woman.

As he looks at her from head to toes, Vetri is mesmerized by her beauty. She wore minimal makeup and accessories but she looked as if she was an angel from heaven. Vetri's heart swelled with pride. In a couple of minutes, he was going to introduce her to everyone as his fiance. She was his, always.

As he introduced her to his relatives and friends, everyone had nothing but praises. Everyone approved of his woman and thought that they complemented each other really well. As Vetri turned to take a glimpse once again, his eyes locked with hers. Their eyes spoke a million words and within that one minute, Vetri's eyes had expressed his love as well as complimented her looks.

As much as Malar knew his emotions were real, she felt that everyone including him had over-exaggerated her looks. Malar was still the very simple girl who had unintentionally stumbled into his path. His girl. She rolls her eyes at him before turning back to the guests hoping that he would stop.

Vetri tugs at her saree as she moves and Malar turns around. Upon seeing Vetri holding on to the saree, Malar gasps. Seeing her reaction, Vetri smirks before pulling her to him. She crashes on his chest and to prevent her fall, she places her hand near his heart. He whispers into her ears,  "Can you feel it?" Malar looks up and realizes what he meant. Their hearts were beating in sync even though it was rather fast paced. She immediately knew what that meant - that they were meant to be.

He kisses her forehead and whispers, "For once, I'm thankful to God for making us meet". Malar's eyes mist up upon hearing his statement. From a man who rarely spoke about god to a man who was thankful to god, Vetri had indeed transformed.

She leans back closer to Vetri and against his chest, she whispers, "I love you Vetri. Much more than you would imagine."

Vetri's heart jumps with joy and as much as he wish he could kiss her right away, seeing everyone's eyes on them, he knew that he should not do that. Immediately, he kneels down in front of her and offers his hand. He smiles and asks her "Would you give me the honor to dance with you?" Malar smiles and replies "Yes, Always!".
