Malar: I know Vetri better than anyone else. He would never misbehave with you. You are just accusing him baselessly.

Swetha: So you decide to believe someone else over your college friend?

Malar: You are the someone else in my life. Vetri is my husband and he would never do anything wrong. It is high time you change your attitude because others can believe your lies but not me. Never appear in front of us ever again.

Malar holds Vetri's hand and walks away to the sleeper coach that they were supposed to take home leaving Swetha and their other friends behind.

Once they settle down on their berth, Malar talks to Vetri.

A gush of wind comes in through the open window. Malar's fringe falls on her face and she gets disturbed. Vetri quickly and softly tucks it behind her ear. He then closes his eyes and soon he falls asleep with a smile on his face.
