What often made him excited during this mini story session was Malar's cute expressions. He leans in and plants a kiss on her cheek. He attempts to kiss her again but was stopped by Malar.
Malar: Mama! Ippadi panna naan maranthiduvaen.
Vetri smiles.
Vetri: Seri, sorry!

As she continues speaking, Malar observes Vetri. She knew that Vetri was with her throughout the day yet she experienced joy each time she spoke about it. It was extra special each time she spoke about it to Vetri. She finally finishes speaking and has a huge smile on her face.

She attempts to stand up from the chair and walk towards the bed when Vetri sweeps her off her feet.
Malar: Enna mama pannureenga?

Malar laughs.
Malar: Oru aaru adi eduthu vachale bed vanthida poguthu. Ippo ethukku Mama ennai thookureenga?
Vetri: Naan unna mattuma thookuraen. Namma Kutty Malaraiyum thookuraen.
Vetri slowly puts Malar down and helps her settle into bed. He lies down beside her and strokes her hair until she falls asleep. He then goes to sleep.

It was early in the morning when Vetri felt a weight on his chest. He opens his eyes to see Malar lying on his chest with her eyes wide open.
Vetri: Enna di. Thookam varaliya?
Malar: Unga pulla thaan enna thoonga vidaliyae
Vetri: Apadiya?
He uses his hand and places it on Malar's belly.
Vetri: Enna chellam? Thookam varilya?
Vetri feels a kick against his hand.
Malar: Pateengala Mama. Thookam varaliya

Vetri smiles at Malar who was pouting.
Vetri: Seri, athukku yen di ippadi moonja vechikira? Naan ava kitta solluraen.
Vetri strokes Malar's belly.
Vetri: Papa, Appa sonna kekanumla. Ammava thoonga vidunga. Neenga ippa thoonguveengala. Amma kalaiyila elunthricha piragu neengalum elunthiripeengala.
Vetri realises that the movement of their baby comes to a stop. He looks at Malar.
Vetri: Eppidi?
Malar: Ippovae Appa pecha mattum kekurala!
Vetri: Athellam apadi thaan.
Aanil thaaimai karuvaagum
Eeram poothu mazhai aagum
Kanneer sugamaai imai meerum
Kaalam undhan varamaagum
Malar: Innum rendu maasathula ava namma kaiyila iruppa Mama.
Malar starts to tear.
Vetri: Malar, enma alugura?
Malar: Theriyala Mama.
Seeing Malar get emotional, Vetri also gets emotional. He gives a kiss on Malar's forehead.

Malar snuggles close to Vetri and Vetri slowly strokes her hair. Malar slowly falls asleep and Vetri watches her. Ever since Malar told him about the pregnancy, she had a roller coaster ride. Right from mood swings to being nauseous, Malar had experienced everything. Nevertheless, every day whenever he would ask her how she was feeling, she would put up a smile so that he would be happy.

The amount of sacrifices that Malar had been enduring for him and their baby was something Vetri knew he would always remember. Soon, their little bundle of happiness would be in their hands. Vetri closes his eyes feeling contented and slowly falls asleep.
