Vetri walks into the wedding hall, while talking on his phone. In between Aishwarya's wedding preparations, he had gone back home to attend to an important work that could not be postponed. Therefore, he could only make it back in time for the wedding ceremony. The entire hall was bustling with crowd and as Vetri got past the crowd, he sees Aishwarya coming towards the mandapam. His eyes search for Malar and he finally spots her behind Aishwarya.

Konji pesida venam un kanne pesudhadi (No need to talk romantically, your eyes are talking)

Konjamaga paartha mazhai saaral veesuthadi (If you see me slightly, it is drizzling)

Na ninna nadhandha kannu un mogame kekudhadi (No matter if i stand or walk, my eyes ask for your face)

Adi tholaivula irundhadhane perum kadhal thonudhadi (If i stay away from you, I think more about love)

Dhoorame dhooramai pogum neram (This is the time for distance to go away)

Upon seeing Malar, Vetri's face lights up instantly. Malar looked like an angel and Vetri could not even blink his eyes. At that moment, Aishwarya's father taps his shoulder.

Aishwarya's father: Vetri, why are you standing here? Come and join us on the stage.

Vetri: No Appa, I will stay here.

Aishwarya's father: You are like my son. Come and join us on the stage.

Vetri agrees and climbs the stairs up to the stage.

Konji pesida venam un kanne pesudhada (No need to talk romantically, your eyes are talking)

Konjamaga paartha mazhai saaral veesuthada (If you see me slightly, it is drizzling)

Na ninna nadhandha kannu un mogame kekudhada (No matter if i stand or walk, my eyes ask for your face)

Adi tholaivula irundhadhane perum kadhal kooduthuda (If i stay away from you, love increases)

Dhoorame dhooramai pogum neram (This is the time for distance to go away)

The moment Malar had left the bride's room, her eyes had searched for Vetri. She had seen him walking in, occupied with a phone call. Malar was a little disappointed that Vetri had not seen her but the very next moment, Vetri had noticed her and was almost staring at her. Malar had missed Vetri during the two days that he was not around. She was reminded of Vetri in every ceremony and every night when she settled down to sleep, she would wonder if Vetri was okay.

Aasai valaiyidutha? Nenjam athil vizhutha? (Do desires throw net? Does the heart fall in it?)

Ezhunthidum podhum anbe meedhum vizhundithutha? (Does it fall again and again even after getting up)

As Aishwarya went up the stage, Malar follows behind. Vetri was spellbound by her beauty. He noticed that she was wearing a saree that he had selected for her. He hair was pulled back into a bun and she had adorned jasmine flowers in her hair. Although Malar had worn accessories, Vetri noticed her Thaali and the kungumam on her forehead. To think that she was his made Vetri feel extra special. He tries to look at Malar's eyes but notices that she did not even look at him once.

Thanimai unnai sudhutha? Ninaivil anal tharudha? (Does the loneliness burn you? Does the thoughts give you a warm feeling)

Thalaiyanai pookalil ellam koondhal manam varudha? (Does the pillow smell like my hair?)

Malar knew Vetri's eyes were on her but she decided to pretend not to see him. Vetri did not tell Malar that he was leaving and it was the next morning that she found out from Aishwarya's father that Vetri had an urgent work to attend to. Malar had expected him to call but he did not even send a text message. Therefore, Malar decided to ignore him. She could feel Vetri's gaze on her but she focused on the wedding.

Kuru kuru paarvayaal konjam kadathuriyae (You kidnap me by your romantic looks)

A while later, Malar looks up and notices that Vetri was missing. Her eyes start to search for Vetri. Unknown to her, Vetri had moved behind her and had been standing there quietly for almost two minutes. He had been seeing her getting flustered and was enjoying her reactions.

Kulirukkum nerupukkum naduvula nirithiriye (You make me stand in between coldness and hotness)

Malar decides to look for Vetri. She takes a step back and hits Vetri. She turns around and their eyes meet. Malar feels shy and immediately looks down. Vetri smiles and whispers to her.

Vetri: Malar, you look beautiful.

Malar turns back to face the front. She is blushing and her cheeks are rosy red.

Vera enna venum? Neril vara venum (What else is needed? I just want you to come in front of me)

Sattham illa mutham thara venum (I want to give you a silent kiss)

As the two of them watch the wedding proceedings, they recall their wedding anniversary night at Yercaud. Had Anbukarasi not called, the two of them would have expressed their love. Realising that today was the best day, they mentally prepare to express their love after the wedding was over.

Konji pesida venam un kanne pesudhadi (No need to talk romantically, your eyes are talking)

Vetri moves beside Malar and looks at her. Vetri had always loved Malar's expressive eyes and today, her eyes spoke volumes.

Konjamaga paartha mazhai saaral veesuthada (If you see me slightly, it is drizzling)

Malar looks at Vetri. The smile on his face was her favourite about him. It had a charm that words could not explain.

Soon Aishwarya's wedding was over. The photographer gathers everyone to take group pictures.

Na ninna nadhandha kannu un mogame kekudhadi (No matter if i stand or walk, my eyes ask for your face)

Once again, Vetri searches for Malar. Swetha who still did not know Vetri's identity, attempts to stand beside Vetri but the moment Vetri spots Malar, he moves away from Swetha and stands beside Malar.

Ada tholaivula irundhadhane perum kadhal kooduthuda (If i stay away from you, love increases)

Malar's face lights up when she sees Vetri walk towards her. She sees Vetri smiling at her and instantly, she smiles at him.

Dhoorame dhooramai pogum neram (This is the time for distance to go away)

The photographer gets ready to click the photograph. As if on cue, both of them move closer to each other. The two of them look into each other's eyes and they knew both of them were deeply in love.

Konji pesida venam un kanne pesudhada (No need to talk romantically, your eyes are talking)

Konjamaga paartha mazhai saaral veesuthada (If you see me slightly, it is drizzling)

Malar leans in closer to Vetri and Vetri side hugs her. The two of them have a big smile on their face and pose happily for their first photograph after the Yercaud trip and the entire misunderstanding issue.
