Vetri adjusts his hair while looking at his reflection in the mirror. He winks at himself before breaking out into a big smile. The moment he had been eagerly waiting for was finally here.

He takes his bike key and races down the stairs. At the hall, he sees Anbukarasi walking to the main door and gives her a big smile.

Before Anbukarasi could say anything else, Vetri runs out of the house and heads over to his bike. He starts the bike and rides off. Anbukarasi watches as Vetri rides off and smiles. As the wind caresses Vetri's cheek, his smile widens even more.

Vetri had always been a safe rider and today was no exception. However, the ten minute journey felt like aeons. As he stopped his bike outside his destination, seeing the door locked dimmed Vetri's smile a little. Knowing that he could not wait any longer, Vetri takes out his mobile to make a call. He unlocks his phone and there on his wallpaper was his recent favourite picture of them.
A few weeks ago, Vetri had worn a brand new shirt and had been taking pictures of himself when all of a sudden, Malar had photobombed that picture. Malar had then proceeded to set that goofy picture as Vetri's wallpaper. Seeing her goofy face made Vetri's smile reappear.

Instead of calling Malar, Vetri opens his gallery and starts to scroll through all the pictures. Each picture told a different story and all Vetri could see was Malar, regardless of whether the picture had the two of them or the rest of the family. Vetri continues to lean against his bike while admiring Malar in the pictures.

Halfway, Vetri stops scrolling and stands upright. His gaze goes towards the front door which was still closed. Yet, Vetri's heart was thumping. He knew Malar was somewhere nearby. He looks around but there was no one to be found.
Feeling dejected, Vetri settles himself against the bike again when,
"Surprise!"
Vetri turns to see Malar looking at him.

Before she could say anything else, Vetri engulfs her into a hug.

Malar: Nejama?
Vetri: Sathiyama
The two of them break apart. Vetri continues to hold Malar's hand.
Malar: Ithu ungalukkae konjam too muchah theriyala Mama?
Vetri: Yaen?
Malar: Nethu raathiri 10 manikku thaan inga erakkiviteenga. Ippo mani 5. So oru ezhu mani neram thaan pirinji irukkom. Athukulla enna miss panneengala?
Vetri: Nee illatha ovoru nimidamum oru yugam aagum en kanmaniyae!
Malar giggles.

Vetri: Sathiyama ennala thoonga mudiyala. Athan unna parka oodi vanthutaen.
Before, they could speak further, the front door opens. The two of them look towards the direction of the sound and see Rasadurai looking at them.
Malar mutters under her breath "Acho Appa! Maanam pochu!" She then glances at Vetri before going in to the house quickly. Vetri smiles sheepishly at his Mama before following Malar into the house.
Rasadurai watches them walk in with a smile on his face. He knew that the two of them had fallen deep in love with each other and that was all that he wanted - for the two of them to be happy!
