Vetri looks at the stars in the sky while recollecting the day's event. He had came back from Singapore after a whole month today and as he was walking out of the airport, he had collided with someone. The woman fell backwards and he had let go of his suitcase to catch her and break the fall. Her hazel colored eyes had captured his heart instantaneously.

Vetri had only seen her for five minutes but he felt as if there was a long lost connection between them. Even before he could ask her if she was alright, the woman had hurried away. Vetri had later picked up his suitcase and had gone to the carpark where the driver had been waiting for him. Throughout the journey home, Vetri had been thinking about the woman he saw at the airport.

As soon as he got home, his sister Eswari had asked him to get ready and the entire family had gone out. Although Vetri was tired, he could not say no to his sister considering that she was 7 months pregnant. Pugal had drove the car and Vetri had dozed off during the journey. Vetri opened his eyes and there greeting his was a pair of hazel colored eyes. Immediately, Vetri knew that she was the one his heart was thinking about. The woman looked beautiful in a simple saree and minimal makeup. Anbukarasi moved to give some space between Vetri and herself. She then gestured the woman to come and sit in between the two of them.

After thinking for a moment, the woman had approached the two of them and had sat down. Very soon, Anbukarasi had engaged her in a conversation and she had been responding with a smile. To Vetri, she looked very happy and had spread joy to everyone including himself. She looked like a freshly bloomed flower. He had unconsciously whispered "My Malar".
