Travel restrictions had finally been lifted and Vetri had been travelling home with Idhayakani Anna. They were merely fifteen minutes away from home when Vetri had noticed an Akka selling flowers. He asks Idhayakani Anna to stop the car and goes over to the small makeshift shop. He then gets Malar's favourite roses before continuing the journey. Seeing the flowers in his hand, Vetri has a big smile on his face.

Meanwhile, Malar was watering the plants on the rooftop terrace. She knew that Vetri would be home soon and had finished up all the work so that she could spend time with Vetri. It had been a long time since she had seen him in person and Malar was extremely excited.

Vetri looks at himself in the mirror. His beard and hair had grown longer in the past few months and he was looking exactly as he was when he had first met Malar. He had lost a bit of weight but thinking about Malar, he knew that she and of course his mother Anbukarasi would make sure that he would put on all that weight with their good home cooked food.

Malar had quickly gone back into their room and had checked her appearance on the mirror. She adjusts her saree. She knew that Vetri would be able to figure out that she had been having sleepless nights for the past few months with just one glance so she does minor touch up to her face before heading to the hall.

The car comes to a stop before the house and Vetri and Idhayakani are greeted by family. Vetri makes his way into the house and settles down. He sees Malar bring tea for the two of them and a big smile appears on his face. The two of them converse through their eyes. It was indeed a beautiful feeling for the both of them to be under the same roof after months.

After a while, everyone leaves to do their own work and ask Vetri to rest. Vetri heads to the room and Malar follows behind. In their room, Vetri engulfs Malar into a hug. Even though the two of them had been communicating through video calls, it was never the same as being in the same space physically. Vetri kisses Malar on her forehead before breaking apart.

Vetri makes Malar sit down before lying down on her lap. Malar has a smile on her face and she slowly caresses his hair. The two of them share the difficulties that they had faced because of the absence of each other.

Just then, Vetri remembers that he had bought something for Malar. He then gets up and walks to the table and picks up the roses. He gives them to Malar who caresses the petals softly. She then places it in the vase on the table before pulling Vetri back to their bed.

The two of them settle against the bedframe. Malar leans onto Vetri's chest and Vetri puts his arm around Malar's shoulder. The two of them close their eyes and finally fall asleep peacefully.
