They had been discussing about their upcoming semester exams and had making plans to celebrate the end of the semester. Hearing the sound of the main gate opening, Vetri had turned to look and for a moment, he goes silent.

His jaw widens seeing a beautiful girl walks in. Just when Vetri wonders if she got the address wrong, he notes that she was walking in confidently as if this was a familiar space to her. All of a sudden, the girl looks up and at that very moment, Vetri forgets to breathe because it dawns on him that this was the exact same girl who had a special place in his heart in his childhood days - Malarvizhi.

Vetri cuts the call without even giving time for his friends to respond and quickly makes his way down to the hall, just in time to see Malar seek blessings from his mother. It was still early so everyone had been sitting in the hall and seeing Malar everyone had gotten excited.

Seeing the commotion, Vetri leans against the doorframe, arms crossed with a small smile, and waits for Malar to turn towards his direction. It was a one minute wait but for him, it felt like an eternity.
"Vetri, ithu yaarunu theriyuda?"
Even before Anbukarasi could say anything else, Vetri smiles.
"Piranthanaal vaazhthukal Malaru!"
