Mood: Feel good today - The phantoms

"This motherfucking fucking sand and this fucking sun!"

The door to the saloon slammed open and in walked a furious Jesse. Eyes turned to the sudden and loud entrance.

"I hate it! Hate it, I tell you!"

"And a good afternoon to you, too, Jesse," Larry greeted him, as usual busy with cleaning empty glasses.

He looked up at Jesse with a smirk.

"I would say that I am surprised to see you, but we could hear you whining from at least a mile away."

A few chuckles rang out from around the room.

Hanzo walked in behind Jesse who kept grumbling and swearing. He looked around himself at the saloon filled with people enjoying drinks, smokes, gambling and female attention. People were calling out to Jesse to greet him with various insults mixed into their hellos.

Once they noticed Hanzo, more than a few eyebrows were raised. Hanzo's attire did not match the uniform cowboy style that seemed be the expected way of dressing around this place.

"I swear to God!" Jesse cried out.

"What!?" A man replied with a chuckle. "I just said that I was surprised that you dare to show your ugly mug here again... after what you did the last time you were here."

The man gestured to a boarded up hole in the wall that had once been a window.

"That was not my fault!" Jesse yelled and pointed a threatening finger at the man. "It was her doing!"

"Oh, yeah?" the man mocked and winked at a man sitting next to him. "I don't know about you, Earl, but I can't remember that it was Ashe that threw herself through Larry's window... shattering it... again."

"If so," the other man continued while chuckling, "she has really let herself go."

"You lot wanna fight?!" Jesse fumed at them and put up his fists. "I'll beat the sass out of you two until not even your mothers will recognize you anymore!"

Hanzo raised an eyebrow and put a hand on Jesse's shoulder.

"Easy now," he calmly said.

"Yeah, easy now," the first man repeated and winked at Jesse. "Is it that time of the month, Jesse, or why are you so irritable? You usually don't mind some good old bickering! Go have yourself a drink, looks like you need it."

Jesse's face suddenly fell down and he looked at Hanzo.

Hanzo almost broke out laughing, but he kept a stern face as he looked Jesse in the eye.

Jesse's tilted his head and his eyes pleaded with the Shimada.

It became more and more difficult for Hanzo to keep it together. Jesse looked like a lost puppy as he was begging Hanzo to give in. He was almost expecting the cowboy to start whimpering from the look he gave him.

Hanzo shook his head and whisked away some smoke that rose around him from the cigars that were being consumed around him.

"I agreed to this on the condition that you would not drink or smoke," Hanzo said in a low yet audibly determined voice. "Although I understand now why you wanted to go here."

Jesse closed his eyes as he inhaled the smoke with great satisfaction.

"Oh, Lord...," he mumbled to himself as the familiar sensation filled his lungs.

Suddenly he opened his eyes and closed his mouth. His eyes started to tear up and his face got a more and more reddish color.

"You are trying not to cough, aren't you?" Hanzo said displeased. "You said your lungs could handle it if we went here."
