"Why did you want to come here?" Ana asked.

Jack took a deep breath of the fresh Swiss air. He closed his eyes while resting a hand on one of the two gravestones in front of him. The sun was setting behind the duo, giving the graveyard an eerie but serene atmosphere.

"Because I need to let him go

"Because I need to let him go...," Jack said in a deep gravelly voice.

Ana sighed as she looked around the area.

"So many people... loved ones... that we have had to say our goodbyes to here...," she said with sadness. "Including you and Gabriel..."

Jack opened his eyes, looking down at his and Gabriel's names that were engraved in the stones. Although the years and the weather had run their course on the surface, the names could still be made out.

Jack ran his fingers over Gabriel's name, tracing the letters with his fingertips.

"Our lives did not turn out as planned," Jack said with the same sadness.

"They rarely ever do...," Ana said.

Jack stood up, his eyes still on Gabriel's gravestone. He sighed and looked around himself.

"So many that we have lost throughout the years... and for what?" Jack said, sounding cynical.

Ana took a few steps forward and put a hand on Jack's shoulder.

"To make the world a better place," she softly said while leaning her cheek against her hand.

"Did we, though?" Jack asked with a sigh. "Look at all the crosses. So many are gone and it feels like... it feels like we are back on square one... such a waste."

A light smile formed on Ana's face and she pointed down to a field. A few kids were running around, giggling and playing with a ball.

"Many people, including them, got to grow up in a safer world... a world with hope. Even if evil is on the rise, as it tends to do from time to time, we were part of showing them and their parents, through the stories and legends they are being told, that evil can be defeated," Ana calmly said. "That it was done once and it can be done again. The generations after you and me are still willing to fight... as you have seen."

Jack scoffed.

"By restarting Overwatch?" he huffed. "It's ridiculous!"

"Our opinions rarely matched, Jack...," Ana calmly disagreed.

"Thousands have died!" Jack exclaimed. "And thousands more will if..."

"But millions have lived!" Ana interrupted. "And we contributed to that... you contributed to that."

Jack shook his head.

"You sound just like her," he said.

"Angela?" Ana asked. "Yes, she is a very wise girl... you should listen to her more... and to me..."
