This story is the continuation of Behind closed doors so if you haven't read that one I suggest to start there. This novel is more storydriven than BCD and also involves more focus on the other characters in the Overwatch family.
The story picks up...
Zenyatta floated across the alley and towards the corner where Genji was sitting and writing on a notepad.
"Sometimes being quiet is not the best of abilities," he continued. "What are you writing?"

"Don't worry, master, I was lost in my thoughts," Genji replied and looked up at him. "Which should tell you something of how well my stay here in Nepal has been for me. I would never have been able to relax like this before. Always on guard..."
Genji stared out in the distance. Zenyatta noticed that something was troubling him.
"Speaking of which...," the Omnic said. "It is time for our meditation. Follow me."
Genji put down the notepad and picked up his sword. He stood up and started walking by his master's side.
Spring was slowly arriving in Nepal. Birds were singing and trees were starting to bloom. Everything was very serene and quiet. All the monks were sitting around in various places meditating and soaking in the sunlight.
The two moved quietly side by side up to a ledge high up on one of the houses. The view over the mountains was breathtaking. The sunlight made the snow sparkle and the wind sang between the mountain tops.
Zenyatta got into position and his orbs started to slowly dance around him.
Genji sighed and took a deep breath. He placed his human hand in front of himself and closed his eyes.

He had a hard time relaxing and kept moving around to get comfortable. After a while Zenyatta's orbs stopped moving and he turned his head to Genji.
Genji looked at him and then hung his head.
"I am sorry, master," he said in a low voice.
"No need to apologize, Genji," Zenyatta said and put a hand on Genji's shoulder. "Is the presence of your brother and the cowboy bringing back old memories?"
