This story is the continuation of Behind closed doors so if you haven't read that one I suggest to start there. This novel is more storydriven than BCD and also involves more focus on the other characters in the Overwatch family.
The story picks up...
Genji looked over at Jesse, who quite literary looked as if he had seen a ghost, and then down to his brother who had curled up in a ball, slouching in front of him with his arms and hands wrapped around his head.
He then looked over at Zenyatta who gave him a nod.
Genji went down on one knee next to his brother and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Come," he calmly said and grabbed his arm, pulling him up.
Hanzo was hyperventilating and stared down at the ground as he was pulled up on his feet.
"I... It... It can't...," he stammered.
Genji turned him around with his back facing Jesse and gave him a tight hug.
"Wait here," he spoke softly. "I will have a talk with Jesse. He must be absolutely shocked right now... he believes that you are dead, remember? Go with Zenyatta to calm your nerves for a while... it looks like you need it."

"Wait up! Seriously, McCree... these fucking mountains are killing me!"
Sombra emerged around the corner huffing and puffing in between gasping for air with Jesse's serape wrapped around her shoulders. She leaned on her knees while trying to catch her breath, as beads of sweat kept running down her forehead.
"Seriously dude...," she panted and looked up. "What's... oh..."
She saw Hanzo's backside and the lost expression on Jesse's face.
"Surprise!" she happily exclaimed with a sheepish grin on her face.
Jesse didn't respond. He just stared at Hanzo.
"Jesse? Hellooo?" Sombra said and waved a hand in front of his face.
"It's... it's...," Jesse stammered.
"Hanzo, yes..." Sombra snickered. "Christmas came early this year, right?"
She unwrapped herself from Jesse's serape and put it over his shoulders.
"Here, I think you have more use for this now," she said, still giggling. "What are you waiting for? Are you not going to go and say hello? Just remember to wash this damn thing though."
"I'm... I'm...," Jesse stammered, but before he could do anything, he saw Genji giving Hanzo's shoulder a push towards Zenyatta.
Genji then hurried over to Jesse with fast steps and gave his friend a hug once he reached him.
"Jesse!" he said. "What are you doing here?"
"She... she...?" Jesse said and pointed at Sombra.
Genji glared over at Sombra and then looked back at Jesse, giving his confused friend a friendly pat on the cheek.
