30. Saturdays in Seattle

Plot: You and Vinnie are married with kids and every Saturday, you spend time out in the city as a family

p.s. I literally had to watch a good handful of youtube videos about what there is in Seattle because I ain't never been there. So if you have been there or you are a local do not come for me if I get something wrong lmao

It was Saturday again and you and Vinnie decided to take the kids to some spots that y'all had been to before but never got tired of going to.

You have two boys, a pair of fraternal twins who were 14 years old and a little girl who was 7. You and Vinnie have now been married for 15 years.

Pike Place Market always seemed to be crowded on the weekends but after living here for a while now, you'd gotten used to it.

Upon entering, you saw the familiar shops. You turned behind you to make sure that everyone was together and saw that Vinnie had picked up your daughter and set her on the side of his hip. You knew he'd done that so that she could see from a higher view.

You smiled at the sight and walked to your favorite bagel shop. The kids loved going there to get their favorite bagels and chocolate milk.

After walking around and seeing everything, Vinnie reminded you about the Gum Wall. Your little girl heard about it in school after her teacher mentioned it. She had came home that day and wouldn't stop talking about how much she wanted to go. You weren't sure why you hadn't brought her before.

Vinnie lead the way with the two boys by his side.

"Wait, I wanna put a piece of gum on the wall but we don't have any." your son said.

"Which is why we are going to the hotel on the corner first. They give out free blowpops at the front desk." Vinnie replied. "They have been doing that every since I was your age."

Once y'all got them, you sat in the lobby and sucked on your blowpops until everyone got to the gum part, then you started walking to the alley where the gum wall was.

You were taking pictures and Vinnie and the boys found a spot to put their gum. But your little girl chickened out at the last minute. Despite her constantly talking about wanting to come, she was the only one who didn't want to put her gum on the wall.

Vinnie had even tried to convince her but that didn't work. She just eventually threw it in the trash a few feet away.

After that, y'all headed to Waterfront Park to walk along the pier. The kids loved running up and down the boardwalk and you found it to be very relaxing to look out at the water.

While you were looking at the waves, Vinnie came up next to you.

"Remember when I first brought you here?"

You smiled. "Yeah."

You and Vinnie met while he was living in LA. After 6 months of dating, he wanted to bring you home to meet his family. Of course you were nervous to meet them. And it was the middle of December and you tried to delay it by using the excuse that you didn't have winter clothes. But he wouldn't take no for an answer and took you to the mall.

While up north, Vinnie was showing you around his hometown and the last stop was here, at Waterfront Park. The pier was decorated with Christmas lights and he told you that this was one of his favorite spots.

And now he's brought his own family here.
