42. Nervous

Plot: Vinnie wants to hold your hand

Excitement filled your body as the movie started at the theatre. You had your spot in between Vinnie and Jack. Y'all were seeing Don't Breathe 2.

Jack knew that Vinnie had a crush on you and that's part of the reason why he asked you to come along, so that you and Vinnie could spend some time together.

You were a big fan of horror movies but there were times where you'd jump and cover your eyes. That's what was going on while watching this movie.

You had your arm out on the arm rest and you'd continuously ball your hands into fists out of anxiety.

Vinnie noticed and wanted to hold your hand to comfort you.

Once the idea was in his mind, he couldn't think of anything else. His focus was no longer on the movie, but on how he could hold your hand and not make it awkward.

20 minutes of him overthinking it and tapping his foot went by.

He finally thought, fuck it, and intertwined his fingers with yours. He even rubbed his thumb over yours.

You looked over at him, but he just looked at the screen. You smiled. You've been waiting for him to do that for a while.
